It is very nice to have a carafe like this. You need to stop right now if you are going to order it to replace the glass carafe that came with your Keurig Duo and single cup coffee maker. Due to the position of the drip area on the Pot of Coffee side, the carafe cannot be inserted under it. A tall building is out of place. A problem with this model's carafe occurred without warning after two to three months of use. While investigating, we learned that they could fail without warning after such a short period, and this could pose a danger to the container. This glass carafe does not come with a warranty. It was impossible to find a better quality replacement than the original, which had a poor history. The main unit was also difficult to clean and the replacement carafes were all either too tall or too short despite better quality replacements being available. In order to replace this unit with one where a more durable replacement carafe is available, I chose a different brand.

Our attention was drawn to this leak yesterday when it began leaking after only about three hours. There has been no change for five That's too bad because I like the Keurig it comes with, but I want something thermal so I can make a full pot and my spouse will still be able to drink it. We were unable to put an order in without a wait list. The item did not fit the dual coffee maker that it was supposed to go with. There was no way I could fit inside. Returned it because it was defective.

Although I like this, if I make a full pot, the coffee doesn't stay hot for hours (I had to wait several hours between cups). It's a good thing the pot is metal, so I can just simmer it on the stovetop. However, I ordered the new pot because one morning when I was struggling (before drinking coffee) I accidentally put the original pot on high heat and it melted the handle, and after that the whole post broke.
