A handy accessory to have a warm drink on hand while sitting at the desk or wherever else you may be. Hot enough to be comforting, but not too hot to burn your tongue (either on the tongue or on the taste). When the cup is on the surface, it is able to turn on and off The ceramic mug I use is so light that even with a half inch of liquid at the bottom, I need to gently push the cup when I place it on a heat source to turn it on, but only for a very short time. Occasionally, the heater slides on the desk a few others complain about how quickly it heats up With a desk top made of butcher block wood, I haven't had that problem. A different surface would probably be less than ideal, but that would also create issues with other items (like a keyboard)? This is an incredible piece of software that I use every day, and I'm glad I came across it.

As a whole, I like this coffee warmer because it does what it needs to do and I like that it turns off and on automatically when a cup is filled. Although I gave it three stars, I'm giving it one star because the cord is extremely short, maybe 1 meter long. I barely have enough room for it to reach my desk since it is 2 feet long. Another problem is there are no stoppers on the bottom of the warmer, so it slides around a lot since I have a wood desk with a finished top. In order to maintain stability, I plan to buy stoppers to put beneath the new one like I did with my old one.

This mug was given to me recently - I gave the recipient a new heater to replace an old one that was no longer functional. In addition to its sleek and attractive design, I also enjoy the fact that it turns on and off depending on what is put In addition to reducing my energy consumption, it also kept my old warmer on for hours at a time. This works best with my flat bottomed mug but is able to do a good job with factory-made ones as well With a slight ring around the bottom, this piece is hand made.

This is a great item to keep at home desk setup for keeping coffee warm. The mug is the only thing that turns it on and heats it up, so you don't need to worry about it heating up any other time. The cold coffee would've gone down the drain rather than end up in the sink!.

It's great that there is an automatic gravity switch to turn the coffee warmer on and off. Among the problems with the product is that the bottom is slippery, and the warming surface is not effective.
