Questions & Answers

Is this rack capable of holding double sized wine bottles as well as the 750ml bottle ?

A bottle with an unusual shape would not be suitable for it. When it comes to my sparkling wine bottles and any bottles that are a tad off the norm, it's a little more difficult to set up.

It's a rack for wine
3/5

There's nothing to worry about. As a rule, I really like these types of racks. There are these types of metal racks (also known as dry goods shelves) everywhere in Japan where I lived for a few years! There are fantastic quality products over there, so in comparison. It does not impress me much. While it holds a decent amount of wine, it seems unstable. It can be assembled easily, but it might not be stable enough to hold all the bottles. Maybe it has something to do with the type of metal used, but this rack is lighter than others I own. It's likely that aluminum is used more frequently here. Those black snuggers (the plastic pieces that attach the rods to the shelves to keep them in place, though I'm not sure what they are called) seem They have a notch inside of them for catching on to the rod, ensuring it's It was possible for the notch not to catch on some occasions. It makes me about a little concerned, but I'm still going to attempt it. As well as the racks themselves, they are a bit unsteady. On one of the racks, I placed about six bottles, and when I added a 7th, it caused the rack to bounce The EHHHH sound. I find that to be a little frightening. Apparently you can double stack here in order to hold more wines, but I am not sure if that will be a viable solution for long-term It is possible that there will be no earthquakes, but I am a little worried. For your safety, my finest wines are displayed at the bottom of the rack. The model would do, and I believe it'll work for a stable location without damage caused by shakes. *** *** - Here's an update It has been about 6 months since I purchased this rack. A few bottles fell over in an earthquake that caused it to break. Those bottles that fell were actually the ones on the bottom racks, not the bottles on the top racks. It was fortunate that nothing broke, since they were so close to the ground, but it was a little odd that the lower racks were the most My initial thought was that it might have been a reverse situation. As far as I'm concerned, this is still fine. No matter what rack you choose, there will be better out there. It holds my wine and nothing broke, but I wouldn't put it anywhere near where there is a chance that someone may accidently touch a bottle, or on an earthquake fault line.

Impressive, but maybe not as stable as you thought? I really like this rack - it holds a lot of wine! The assembly was a bit tedious (about two hours), since the instructions are very brief
3/5

Holding shelves up is a challenge since the plastic sleeves are thin. When the two are oriented opposite each other, they will only work, and the differences between them are neither obvious nor detectable. 6. 5 bucks. I got it for 6. 5 bucks. Since it was on sale for 99 cents during an evident price drop, it was really a great deal. As the bottles sit on the upper half of the shelves, they appear to tilt forward (slightly downward). During a conversation I accidentally brushed against a bottle, and five tumbled to the floor, including one that It makes me shiver when I think about earthquakes. My intent is to keep bottles on the lower shelves because they seem more secure, and from where the bottles cannot fall as far as those on the upper shelves. The star has been taken off.

The four stars are worth mentioning

The design is nice, but it may not be that easy to assemble for some people.
