I suppose you'd have to decide what is right according to you I have no idea what the size of this crock is since I got it broken. At Ace Hardware, I found the Ohio crock that was the perfect fit for my space and my order was fully refunded.

This item is made in the U.S. In addition to this one, I have a 3 gal. size that I use for long utensils. To be used in The ones my mom used to have were really good.
Unless they are both the same size, they measure 6 and 3/4 inches just under 7 inches

I've tried ordering two times now, and this is the second time the item is damaged. I am a member of a great household Because there is no other seller for this product here. Both sellers have arrived with defects in their printing. There are spots on both sides of the logo that are smeared and spattered. They have to be returned to a facility where a car isn't available, so they have to be returned. Here's an update I received a refund for both defective items sent by the seller. It was very helpful to have you as a customer.
In order to prevent my whippet from having all the water on the floor when she drinks, I purchased this. My mother doesn't even need to put a towel on the floor as long as the tank is no more than half full. It's so much better to not have a towel on the floor! (I used to have at least 4 square feet of towel on the floor at all times) everything is so smooth now! In addition to being able to keep her water cooler in the summer, the heavy-duty stoneware is also very stable so if it gets knocked over or bumped, water won't spill everywhere. Our house has a tiny yard and the water dish is always in the way somewhere if it isn't you don't have any trouble with it, I may even move it to a carpeted area out of the way in time.
Crocks are great to store kitchen utensils in, and I use this one a lot. The bin is well made and completely glazed so it is very easy to clean. It's also very well made and very well glazed! The 1 gallon crock is quite large, so I placed a much smaller crock inside it to separate the smaller utensils and hold My kitchen has a craftsman style decor, and it matches well with this item. In perfect condition and well packaged, the crock arrived in five days from placing my order. There is a big bonus as well Ohio is the place where it's made! Having a crock for storing utensils is good, but it also works well for storing food.
It's too late for me to say anything. We make it here in the USA! It's a little bigger than your average utensil holder, but it looks awesome in a big kitchen with an industrial gas range!.
I love it!! want to read it over and over again! This item was purchased to store cooking utensils, so I donated between 1 gallon and 2 gal to the pantry (I have a lot of I think one gal is the right amount!.
