Since this year I have just begun making mead, I am a complete amateur. An excellent vessel to use as a starter for primary fermentation. There was only one change I made, and that Airlocks with S shaped panels are better to me than those with three pieces. Nevertheless, the vessel itself is great. I just started making my second batch of mead in it yesterday.
My only complaint is that the lid is difficult to remove, and there is a jagged edge that has One problem is that the lid doesn't have a rubber seal, so it's kinda iffy whether or not you're going to get a good Place an object heavy on the lid instead of just placing a light object there. Since I use a gallon of water, I have not experienced any more issues.
It works okay, but the lid isn't as good as it could be. The one I had was older and I exchanged it for These are ring-style lids which last longer and work better. The price is much too high as it.
