I wouldn't want to try to clean them another way, so put them in the dishwasher to sanitize

There is no way that the stoppers will Using this method, the hole was too small to fit the bubbler in and I had to use a corkscrew to remove it (destroying the stopper in the process)

In my search for a solution, I found that the only way to cover the stopper was to drill a hole in the provided caps and screw them on. Although this is not a good solution, it does not have to be. Your caps will also be ruined.

Although I push them down, there is not enough friction holding them up causing them to just slide to the top where they just balance The rest of the time, they do a great job

Since this is my first batch of carboys, I am unsure if this is normal or not. However, I would think they should be fine. Here's the latest In this case, however, you can tie them down with a twisty tie or even wires.
