The first time I used it, there was an issue
3/5

The purpose of this is to change the aquarium water. A hole was drilled in the vent hole, and water was poured into it. As soon as I set it up over the tank, I started the siphon to draw the water from this carboy into the tank (I still needed to find a bottling spigot). I returned to see how it was going after a few minutes. The box had dripped on the floor, thought it was probably a messy filling, but I found a strange molding defect on the opposite side of the lid that caused it. Seeing that there is a hole already in it, I decided to try and seal it up. Still, it was a bit It is rated A sturdy item 1 - The leak is present. Weighs less than a pound Getting holes so easily may be due to the fact that it is so light. This value is Despite the lower price, you'll get more than what you pay for, especially if you buy the model with the spigot.

I cannot close the main opening tightly enough even though it leaks when it is stored on its side
3/5

With the dimensions and the picture, it is inaccurate. Though I thought it was going to be 11" high, it's 15". In order to store the aquarium water, I had a specific place to go. I had to turn it on its side because it was too tall there so I put it there. Once I returned, I found about a quarter of the water My purpose for screwing the cap on tight was to avoid leaking, as I had read other reviews of them. The drink dispenser should not be drilled into the lid or stored on its side. Store it upright to store it, but definitely not on it's side. Hopefully next time I will spend a little more for a higher quality version.

Sorry for the disappointment
3/5

As I expected, this container is not as heavy duty as I thought. As a result of the price and the pictures, I had expected the sheet to be more puncture-resistant than it A sharp corner or tool could easily penetrate the walls of the container because of their thin plastic. Aside from the labels on the container, it came with three stickers. I came across a shipping label that had an aggressive adhesive that makes it difficult to peel off simply. I may be able to get it off with hot water, but I cannot scrape or cut the label off with a tool because it will probably I am highly disappointed that vendors think it is okay to affix unsightly labels directly to their No way I'd buy from them.

A 5 gallon jug is the perfect size to change the oil in two cars at once! needed a container that could hold 8 quarts of BMW X5 oil as well as 5 quarts of oil from my girlfriend's Jeep Renegade, and this 5 gallon baby holds it all together perfectly after doing the oil change! If you intend to fill it with oil you will need to punch a hole in the opening on the other side so the oil can drain out more easily!

It is strong and can hold a lot of water
5/5

I'm one of the few people who can use a water bottle that doesn't crack after a while. It has good threads and is sturdy. Since many of the others I have purchased cracked or split at the seams, this is the only jug I will buy.

Excellent peanut oil to use with turkey fryers! We had to buy a new container after our insane pup chewed the lid and opening of the old one
5/5

The one we had before was weak, unstable, and small, which is why we bought this one that's stronger, sturdier, and bigger. All of the fryer oil fits into one container now.

Effort cannot be made to make Spigot work
3/5

The carboy was listed as a "Frequently bought together" item on the Amazon site. It is incompatible with that item. Whenever the spigot is installed, it leaks like crazy. The pitches of the threads on the neck and the spigot are very different, as can be seen by an examination of the neck. The 5 gal carboy is difficult to handle without a spigot, so it is far less attractive.

This container is a great choice for used oil
5/5

During my trips to the auto parts store, I will use this to store waste oil. A few minutes after using cheap oil containers, I noticed that their caps would break off after a few uses. This container is not only extremely solid but also leak-free, and it has a very robust lid.
