The number 6 is no problem for me. Is this a better alternative to #7 stopper?

I guess that would be The 5 stopper will fit the end of the hose.

How will this work with a system that automatically feeds water from a bottle?

During the warmer months, you can easily accomplish that. A lack of heat can cause cracks over the winter.

I bought 3 jugs and two of them the bottoms came out. I lost all the product. They refunded 2 of the three jugs, but have refused to refund the third In my opinion, it is useless. The software will not be used by me. If it's not good to keep it, throw it out. No response was received from them when I asked if the last one should I have no idea if something went wrong during shipping, but it should be fixed. I'm very unhappy with this purchase!.

The carboy looked good, but there were quite a few bubbles in it
4/5

It is a good size carboy that can easily hold 5 gallons of beer without fear of plastic imparting previous aromas or flavors from previous brews, but it did have several air bubbles in the glass, although they are currently quite small.

You are warned! Our first use of the carboy was to rack our wine into it so it would be ready to be bottled the following I heard a loud pop and wine began spraying everywhere within minutes, and within seconds the entire side cracked, bursting and spilling 6 gallons of wine on me and my husband, and flooding our entire kitchen
3/5

This is a very cheaply made product!.

There is nothing I don't like about it, and I am happy with the way it is made. In my case, I keep coins in it.

This carboy has a solid, heavy construction, but that makes it a good choice for wine making
5/5

It's been in use 24 hours daily for over two decades. Having purchased it over seven months ago, I have never encountered a problem. Even though the glass appears to have a small crack in it, this small crack is just part of the molding process and does not affect the quality, so do not be alarmed by the small crack, the price is great for the size of the 6 gallon container.
