A thick, solid glass, solid, and a great size. In addition to the 10 gallon version, there is a 2 gallon and 5 gallon version. I now have three of them, and I am considering another one as well. Great size for splitting a six gallon batch, for setting spices or oaking, etc. Having such a small package means it's easy to ship. A box within a box was used to transport these items, and no padding was used. There is no problem. carboys to Alaska are not only a great choice, they are GREAT!.
The 2 gal. Carboy was purchased. A very good package was included with one of the ones I received A third was packaged by an Amazon employee who cared nothing about it. However, the actual bottles were mainly packaged from Italy with great care that included bubble wrap (the real kind with 'US quarters on the sides. The coin's air pockets are the right size! I'm so glad that's true! Anyone buying for fermentation processing should be aware of the following It is clearly stated on the box that the item is not suitable for pressure I am doing a related process. You should be wary of these bottles originating These are evidently no longer made in the US, despite my exhaustive search. I looked for them for over a month without success. We are using the water for our family's drinking needs.
This is an Italian-made bottle of good quality The act of not making Adding leaded glass to your home's exterior. Despite being thick and heavy, the glass bottles are a lot lighter than the average bottle. We have been using these mini water coolers on our office water cooler for a while and seem to be very lifelong. They are about as heavy as filled one-gallon plastic jugs. Hopefully they will last a long time. Only thing to note is that they are very heavy, especially since there isn't a handle built into them. It is important to be careful when mounting them on your cooler so you don't drop them. In my opinion, this is a great trade-off, and I am happy that the glass is as thick as it is It is not like using plastic bottles, which I am hesitant to use because of the long-term effects There will be long-term consequences.
It is an excellent vessel for fermenting beer, cider, wine, mash, mead, or mead. It might be wise to buy a siphon kit, carboy brush, bung, and airlock along with a siphon kit and carboy brush if you need to read reviews. If you use this item for brewing anything, those funnels with filters might come in handy for you too. You can buy a thermometer sticker to keep tabs on fermentation temperatures if you're feeling fancy. Despite its high price, this glass carboy is a sturdy, easy to clean model that is well worth it. Here are a few tips Upon emptying the vessel and soaking the vessel for a day with hot water, rinse it thoroughly with a carboy brush, and to remove the liquid in a hurry, transfer the mixture into a hurricane funnel to let air come up the middle and facilitate faster and more efficient removal.
The item was purchased by mistake and it shipped within six hours, so I was unable to cancel it. I only needed one but it was a lucky accident. Five of these 6 gallon carboys have now arrived, and the two I ordered are the same ones from the home brew store and from I found one carboy with a small problem on the inside that looked like a crack, but it actually was only a small blemish. It looks like it won't cause a problem in the future just a little blemish. Highly recommended but you should always check if it's cheaper at your local brick and mortar because sometimes they are cheaper and it's always my first preference to support them, but do whatever you have to do when the store is out of stock.
It is sturdy and looks nice. The weight is very heavy, however. Moving around is cumbersome if you are planning on doing so frequently. As long as it remains stationary for most of the time, it should be OK. As heavy as it is and as thick as it is, I do not expect it to break.
As far as the bottle goes, it isn't too impressive. (Rack) being heavy enough for me to fill with wine and carry without fear of Two odd bubbles are present in the glass but they do not seem to be in a high stress location, so I doubt that they will be too problematic. In terms of packaging, it was sent in a thin cardboard box without packing materials, and it arrived on time out of the country, although the box was almost completely torn open and there was no packaging inside.
I would, however, include fragile items in the outside package as well. A lot of people don't understand how glass works, which has led to their bad comments. There is no such thing as a cold crash of There is a likelihood that it Additionally, rapid temperature changes will crack it. Using common sense is the right decision. Furthermore, don't hold the neck of a full carboy by the neck, I see that a lot. There is a likelihood that it.
