It is not possible to twist on these caps due to their threading. They stretch to slip over the lip of a GLASS 3, 5 or 6 gallon carboy with a standard profile. There must be a lip on the jug for them to stay in place. It may be of some help

This product fails the pinch test. As well as polluting the atmosphere, it produces a bad chemical order. If something is made of silicone, the pinch test can tell whether it is pure silicone. Whenever you twist, pinch, or stretch the silicone you will notice that it turns white. This indicates the silicone has some kind of additive or filler. The reason I brought this was to have a silicone lid for a carboy. That is not what we are talking about. It is being returned and I now have to start my search for a carboy lid that can be used with any type of.
I DO NOT recommend you buy this! These may fit on plastic carboys, but they do not seal. I think at least one of the six fits a glass 6 gal, but I cannot guarantee it. There are a couple of other fake positive reviews from people who clearly can't speak English well.
I have used them to make beer in the past. I have always had great results with them. My problem is that I will need an inline filter going to my carboys, and then I will use the other hole with a dip tube and a manual pump to take drinking water from that filter. These will be perfect for my inline filter. In addition to being easy to clean, they seem to make an excellent seal. With these, you can never go wrong!.
If they remain more pliable in the future, I see an advantage to using them during cold layering during which my older caps get extremely stiff and difficult The fact that they are better made than what I have previously used will still lead me to order more, whether or not this is true. As well as the price, I like the quality.
You cannot use days when you have the handle attached to the bottle. By popping the cap off, they get the cap.
A glass carboy holds 5 gallons. They are said to fit according to the product information. It was almost a quarter inch larger than the diameter of the mouth of my carboys. I had to return home.
Syphon access is easy through the easy to access port on the carboy.
