Tapered to fit but not tapered

The shaft of these knives starts thin and then turns into a thick shoulder. Therefore, they enter the grommet of the lid loosely, but the shoulder prevents them from going through it because the diameter changes too much. It was actually easier to force one lid into place so I got a tight seal than the other one, but I may need to drill out the other lid a bit to get it to fit snugly. Apart from that, they're just the same as any other.

There were no rubber grommets as shown in the description, so the air locks were not functioning. used these anyway and they seem to work as intended, but they sit at a strange My opinion is that this product is not something I would purchase.
