Is this the 650SS model from Perlick?

Hello, Mark. Yes, it is.

According to one person who was questioned, these are low-cost knockoffs, not stainless Perlick products. Is it a genuine stainless steel item? or are they a rip-off?

Yes! Where has this thing been my entire life? We've been battling (I know
5/5

For years, we've had issues (first-world issues) with the cheap tap that came with our kegerator. We aren't pouring ourselves a tall cold one every time we walk by the front door, believe it or not, just because we have a keg in a very convenient location, right by the front door, but if we did, it would keep the tap from gumming up. It's been a few weeks since I've poured one (I know. EXTREMELY IMPOSSIBLE TO CONCEIVE! ), and we'd have to dismantle everything to get to the bottom of it. So that we could use it again, we gummed it. br>THE PERLICK IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME. Gumming is no longer an option. When we get the dual head tower later, we'll buy another.

Beer faucet that is both beautiful and functional
5/5

Buy it! Perlick, in my opinion, is one of the best, and flow control has significantly improved his performance. If you have a 5-year-old son or daughter, This faucet is great for cutting out foam IF you learn how to use it properly. 6 foot kegarator beer lines I'd been battling foam for a long time - I was on the verge of giving up because there were so many new and different faucets, lines, pressure, etc. I'd get everything just right for one keg, only to replace it with a dud. It's like magic when you have these Perlicks! I fully open the gas line and set the pour pressure to approximately 8 pounds per square inch. Pour at a pressure of 10 psi. There's no need to be concerned. I'm not a die-hard brewer who brews and bottles his own beer and fantasizes about hops, wort, and other ingredients. I'm just a regular guy who prefers a beer to a cup of beer foam! That's how simple it is with THIS Perlick. Cheers!.

This is the genuine article! I'm not sure why they're so pricey, but this faucet is far superior to the Pera faucets
5/5

It is true that it does not clog up like other faucets! When you pull it, beer always comes out, and the shape of the faucet makes it simple to attach a piece of tubing and fill a growler. The flow control is convenient, but its utility is severely limited. Unless your draft system is already close to being balanced, it won't completely eliminate foaming issues. It's unlikely to help much if it's out of balance (as mine was when I first got it). To summarize, I intend to purchase more of these in the future. br>br> I wish I'd started with this faucet when I first got my hands on it. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever This is one of those parts that you shouldn't skimp on if you're new to kegging. Otherwise, the cheap faucets will clog up and become completely stuck, causing you to be irritated. This faucet's mechanism is unique and far superior to other faucets.

No clogged atuck faucets, perfect flow control
5/5

You'll never go back to flow control once you've tried it. br>br>This is a pricey faucet. It's a perlick, though. There are no stuck andles and no stale beer because the front is sealed. If you have multiple kegs with different pressures and don't want to swap out several lengths of beer tube to balance each serving pressure for each different beer, the flow control is a great feature that is worth the extra cost over the standard perlick. Also a good option for those who don't have enough room in their kegs to run feet and feet of like. The flow control valve allows for a wide range of flow speeds, from significantly higher than a standard faucet to a trickle, all without increasing foam, as does holding a faucet partially open. br>br>I don't believe there is enough value in replacing my single existing Purlick faucet. However, as my keezer faucet count rises from two to four, I'll be willing to pay the small premium for more of that can than the standard perlick.

The quality is excellent, and the construction is sturdy, but the price is debatable
4/5

On my keezer set-up, I knew I needed a Perlick faucet. I couldn't decide whether to get the flow control or the standard, so I got one of each. This faucet is fantastic and allows me to fine-tune the flow as well as increase or decrease line resistance to control foam on my home's surfaces. a stout that has been brewed It works well, but it's a lot more expensive than using longer draft lines. While you're putting together your set, that extra feature might be worth a few dollars. Unless you're starting from scratch (as I was), this isn't something I'd consider purchasing as an upgrade if you already have stainless steel Perlick faucets.

It's a pain in the neck
5/5

If you're making craft blond foamy beers or beers with a lot of foam, this is the faucet for you. Temperature and a good facet are the keys to a good pour, and with this faucet, you can throttle it down and not waste beer while still getting a nice little head in your glass. Quality-wise, it's very heavy duty and has a lot of moving parts, so expect to rebuild it at some point.

Our foaming problem was solved thanks to you
4/5

Our kegerator, which was purchased from Best Buy, began to produce only foam. After doing some research, I decided to replace the old faucets with these. The originals would allow the beer to dry in the mechanism before closing it. To get the old faucets to work, we'd have to yank on the handles with a lot of force. That has not been an issue with these faucets. br>br>We were able to keep the beer from foaming by adjusting the flow rate, but the complete solution included replacing the old 3 foot beer lines with new 8 foot lines. The flow of these faucets is controlled by balls that move in and out. Because our kegerator faucet connectors aren't very deep, we're only able to get 40-degree water. The potential flow is at 50 its maximum level. I don't think it's the fault of the manufacturer; I believe I simply received a mass-produced product. Market kegerator that can be fickle and temperamental over time. These are much better faucets, and I recommend them, but keep in mind that the flow control mechanism may not fit well in your kegerator, resulting in less flow.

The ability to change the flow is a game changer
5/5

The forward seal tap is the way to go if you have problems with your taps sticking after long periods of inactivity. Installing it was a breeze. It's a game changer to have adjustable flow. The $20 per tap premium is well worth it. br>Recent changes: These taps have been in my possession for a few weeks. I'm trying to express how much I adore this product, but I keep coming back to the same conclusion: it's a game changer. Forget about the physics of pressure and hose length/diameter; just turn a knob to adjust the flow. My wife has even stated that she no longer requires my assistance in pouring her beer.
