Wasn't there some kind of basket that held the grain while mashing the grain, according to my understanding? An item such as a pot or cooler has a false bottom. If you point the direct heat at the bottom of the pot, you won't get the right result. A sufficient amount of liquid is lacking. The grain will be more evenly distributed with a false bottom that leaves a couple of inches between it and the bottom of the pot. *br>In order to find out if one will fit you would need to measure the diameter of the GrainFather (at the bottom).

The bottom of the container would need to be the right size. The diameter of the bottom of your water cooler, brew kettle, etc. should match the one you order.

I cut my fingers right when I removed the packaging from the product! To avoid accidently cutting yourself, I highly recommend that the manufacturer or seller sand the edges of the machine!.
As a result of reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase this. I was able to buy other identical products from other sellers as well. A lot of reviews were negative because pieces were missing or edges were sharp. As a result, I was pleasantly surprised that none of these issues occurred. The false bottom showed all of its parts clearly and was smooth along the edges, as well as being clean and shiny. My overall opinion of this item is positive, and it is one I would recommend.
