Is there a compatibility issue between these and spike brewer's ?

As far as I know, I have this kit and also have QD from Spike. What matters most is that it has a 1/2 male connector, regardless of brand. These should work good.

Would this work with a 1/2 inch female BSP?

The best brew hose connectors on the market

My order arrived on time and these brewing connectors are of the highest quality as I've used all of them for a year now with no problems. This type of connector is female and needs to be connected to a stainless steel clamp on high-temperature hoses. The fittings for these fittings have a slip ring and therefore operate like air hoses and are usually operated by one hand. In the case of brewing, it is essential that these be cleaned and soaked after use otherwise the mechanism may become stuck. Since their quality and my environment have both been good, I have not encountered any problems.

It would be better with a hose clamp, but the quality is good

The quality is excellent. Designed to be compatible with Spike Brewing QDs and to look like them. The only issue is that the barb is 1/2" instead of 5/8", so a hose clamp may be needed. With the spike QDs, for example, there is no need for clamping, as they are 5/8 and a snug fit.
