In all other cases, the price range is between $120 and $150 With a price of $200+, this is a good It was less expensive to buy two of these for less that the next comparable brew pot, and most were 5 gallons. Although I would like the bottom to be a little thicker, this could be designed that way for heat transfer purposes. A LM Reflux Still will be made out of one, and a fermentation vessel will be made out of the other. The product is fantastic for both, highly recommend and will probably purchase more in the future.
The stainless steel is of very poor quality. It rusted after the first time boiling water. Refused to exchange or refund* Disappointed With Company.
It's well made, too. A feature of this pot that really sets it apart from others is the gallon markings on the inside.
I was hoping it wouldn't be too cheap for what I was looking for, but when it arrived, I was astonished that it wasn't a cheap one that I can get by with, but that it was actually There is no doubt that you need this.
I do not like to use this pot for a couple of reasons. In the first place, I would prefer a pot that is much wider and shorter. I find that wider pots work much better for me. In addition, it would be nice if the lid could be hung from a hook. By doing this you won't have to set the lid down and take up precious counter space, or you won't risk getting it dirty and introducing something into your mixture that you don't want. In the end, this is a solid brew pot that handles a wide range of heat.
I like the size, and that it measured in gallons. It is used for making beer, which is what it is supposed to be used for. There is no good quality steel here. As the bottom of the kettle is thin, the stove mark is visible on it from having been used once. As well as the burn marks, it also had some scratches. Monitoring the temperature with a thermometer and stirring the bowl frequently was necessary. Even after washing it very well and scrubbing it very well, there are still marks and stains.
When it was heating, it caused the entire pot to shake. At some point it stopped shaking when it reached a specific temperature. The thing is we were worried it might tip or slosh out the brew when Metal is not great, but it was still good enough for the job.
I found this big pot to be very appropriate for my husband's brewing hobby at home. As of right now, both price and quality appear to be great!.
