How do I make sure that it fits 1/2 to 3/8 barb elbo? It was reported to me that it was the wrong size 1/2 to 3/4 by some of the people who bought it. ?

This is what I used on the 10 gallon Igloo Mashtun. I had to pull it back to the last few barb fittings of the connector and then secure it with a clamp. You might be able to fit a 13 gallon keg tun on it.

It had plenty of silicone hose (only needed about 4") and fit snugly to the false bottom's barb. As described in one of the reviews I found above, this cable came with a female connector, but the one I received was male and made perfect use of I will update my review after I brew Glad to hear that!.

A 10 gallon mahtun cooler will fit very comfortably. If you want to connect your ball valve to another NPT fitting, you may need another 1/2 NPT FEMALE/3/8 barb fitting. Having trimmed to fit, I was left with 8 inches of extra. A 1/2 inch male to 3/8 of a barb stainless steel fitting and two good clamps are included. My knowledge of the clamp's metalergicall cannot be attested to.

With this cooler, you get a little extra hose than you would require for a standard "gatorade" cooler, but you can cut it easily. A 3/4" female ball valve or a 1/2" male ball valve was available, and the tube came with an adapter to fit the female ball valve. That is just something to remember, and this is a great price for not having to search for all these parts.

For my Igloo cooler mash tun, it is an ideal match with my Draft Warehouse Stainless Steel Domed False Bottom. I had to trim the hose just a bit to get it to fit perfectly, but that is a plus, since it would be bad to have a hose that will not reach the end of the machine. I like it very much. These clamps are well-made and perfectly sized, with clamps that are included.
