How well would these grip cast iron pizza pans if they were cast iron?

A sturdy pan gripper is indeed available. The cast iron pan is very heavy, but I'm not certain if that's the case.

Definitely, it is a humanized design, you will feel much more comfortable with it.

How well does it lift cast iron frying ?

I have tried it on a 10" cast iron frying pan to answer your question. The pan was heavy and narrow, and you would need a strong wrist to support its weight. I did not find the handle very comfortable because of the weight of the pan and the shape of the handle. Weighing 5 pounds, the 10" pan is 10 inches wide. If you want to do it, then you can, but I might consider other options. It is best suited to lighter weight pans, according to me.

Pans aren't the only thing we use it for! Having a good grip is important

The Rapid Chef pots nest in the bottom of this pot, making it an inexpensive extra. You have to hold on to it even though it doesn't clamp, so you have to get a good grip on it. I would say the only downside is the lock cannot be locked in place for storage and when opened it is a big thing to tuck into a place. Although, if you have a hook and enough room to hang it, it would be great.

It's really helpful to have this tool. The use of tools should be a priority for a cook. Please do not consider them just "pizza pan grippers. ". became familiar with conveyor belt ovens when we upgraded to conveyor belts with my job years ago. I didn't like them at first, but developed a love for them with time. There were a couple pairs because there was plenty to go around. My pan grippers helped make me an innovative genius at another job. They were pulling pans out of extremely hot Cheesemelter by hand or a towel, so I brought my pan grippers to work. After using the 2018 model for six months, I upgraded to the 2019 model and they were way better The hook on the back allowed them to easily be hung anywhere they were useful. They were also very durable, light and easy to use. I got a management position a few months later, where I was able to use them more effectively. I decided to give them my grippers after noticing how they had been using a hand towel to get things out of a conveyor belt oven, dipping the towel in marinara sauce most of the time, so they immediately noticed the grippers were essential. The first pair I ordered broke so I ordered these newer ones which are even better. It should be a part of any.
