It's hard to say much about the old forge style pizza, but many people add fat to our pans to give them that beautiful shallow fry quality. LloydPans, thank you for your assistance
Adding it is optional, but you may want to do it. You can clean up the pan pretty easily. It wouldn't hurt the pan if the pizza pan was covered in foil, but I'm not sure how the pizza would react.

I've never used a better pan for pizza. Warps are not an issue. 550 degrees Fahrenheit is the temperature we are using for baking pies To remove it, use a dough scraper on the edge, but otherwise it comes out easily. As well as being easy to clean.
