It would be okay to use any of those. My personal preference is the use of candy melts like those from Wilton or the molding chocolate myself, which you can make from scratch. You can find lots of recipes on Pinterest for that.
White chocolate goes fantastically well with it. I had only one issue with getting the coral out of the aquarium without breaking it. Finally, I put it in the freezer for a few minutes and it worked a lot better. They looked great after I painted them with food color.

Although these are very beautiful, they are very small and very hard to get everything in the molds easily, I don't recommend them if you want to use something soft like chocolate or wax. However, they would be perfect for resin.
It is really cute that these molds exist. It is unfortunate that the smaller molds are not ideal for candy melts, as some have said. There is quite a thin part on the back of the seahorse mold and when I designed it I didn't expect that The two pieces snapped in half when they were molded. Considering how thin the resin is, I am not sure if they would work with resin. Molds of this size worked well and the results were very good.
These are a fun way to create a decoration for desserts you can see a lot of details in the final product. Only problem is that despite numerous attempts, I can never seem to get the small seahorses out of the aquarium without breaking them.
When I ordered this item I kept my granddaughter's birthday cake deadline in mind, as the shipment did not arrive on time. What you are doing is unacceptable to me. No matter how good the product is, if shipment couldn't be guaranteed as promised, it's really of no consequence.
Despite the fact that the molds are good at releasing, the design of the animals is intact. I am particularly happy with the large seahorse mold, which has two faces and can be posed in a 3D manner. Unfortunately, the tiny seahorse should not be used with polymer clay due to its size. The problem is that it is too tiny to do anything useful.
Unmolding the small sea horses was very difficult (I tried to do so twice and finally gave up). As a whole, I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again.
I thought the seahorses and coral were a little thin for wax purposes, but the rest of the pieces turned out great. As long as they are used properly, these can be a great asset!.
Chocolate melts go well with this product. I tried to get the seahorses out of most of the molds without breaking their heads, but I could never get it to.
