I like using this mini baked donut pan because it works well and it looks good too It has a good feel to it. Thus, we have 2 now. Donuts that are 5 inches in diameter are a good size for me. I don't always want to eat a big donut, so 5" is a good size for me There is plenty of room for entertaining in this size. To make the donuts, I used the King Arthur Baked Donut recipe (halves the recipe because it makes 12 full size donuts) & It's a really good movie. On the top of the donuts, they do not brown as much, but the bottoms get really lovely brown color. Using this pan, the donuts pop out right away. In the event that some batter has gotten on the "hole" area after baking, wipe it with a towel or gently clean it out with a butter knife. In order to make this recipe taste like a good authentic one, here is one thing I recommend 3 tablespoons butter (or more if you like) and 1 egg on a small stovetop. It is best to roll the donuts in the mixture before rolling them in sugar or cinnamon mix and I really like the taste of them!.
In the past couple of years, I bought an even more expensive donut pan, but I now need a second one since I often make a double batch and freeze half in advance. Compared to the expensive pan, this one works just as well as it does. It is always a good idea to wipe some coconut oil on the pan before adding the batter. The donuts made with the pan came out clean and the pan was easy to clean. The reason I store mine flat and upside down is so that if I missed a few drops of water, it won't sit and ruin the pan. It is my intention to utilize this pan for a long while, and I will update with durability after a while. If you would like a donut recipe to try it with, I like the ones from the Bakerita blog.
It works perfectly in this pan. The convenience of making donuts without all the grease involved in frying is appealing to me. We had a lot of fun making the donuts. Slide out of the pan when they are ridden. You should give this a try.
