Furthermore, the FDA approves BPA plastics for use in materials that come into contact with infant food storage except for materials that come into contact with BPA plastics, which makes for a very concerning situation. Because there is no manufacturer response to your question and I cannot find anything that indicates that it is 100% silicone or BPA free, I have decided to not purchase this product. My flourless chocolate cake bakes beautifully in these silicone pans, and is very moist, perfect for large Valentines Day themed cakes (like the Sweetheart cakes) or just whenever you feel like adding an extra bit of love to your baked goods.
