I like it a lot. The Ariel cake has been on my daughter's mind for a long time, and I was hoping these cakes would fit the theme perfectly. I had trouble with my first couple batches (the coral/seaweed was most challenging), but by the third or fourth batch, the chocolate was melting nicely and my molds were perfect! Even my six-year-old daughter enjoyed them! The year is Despite his age, old could pop out the shells with no problems. Their looks were so perfect that my kids couldn't believe it. In the future, I will have to come back to these molds again.

However, the coral was a challenge to remove without snapping one of the branches but the overall result was terrific. So real looking were the seashells. These are as if they were picked directly from the shore. For a cake I used them, and they were perfect. I would highly recommend them!.

It was used with candy melts to make cards for a birthday party. Though there were plenty of mermaid tails in this collection, I chose this one because it has cute seashells and sea horses. What drew me was the final result of the reviews on the site. It's incredible how much detail there is! I found all the candies to be so sturdy that it was easy to create candy with them. They did not wobble during the process, unlike the typical silicone molds that bend and flop as soon as you pick them up, which is great since it takes away the possibility of ruining the product when you bump the mold or pick it up to put in the fridge, for instance. This was an easy to use system. It's very cute that I was able to make the mermaid tail in two colors. I was able to remove them very easily after they hardened. Getting them clean was relatively simple. Then they could be put inside the dish washer on the upper rack, facing down, and since they are heavy and sturdy, they would be back where they started after the cycle was complete. In addition, there is nearly no candy left behind when the candy is taken out, and warm water gets rid of any candy drips that have gotten onto the surface. The taste and smell are also not funky or plasticky. It works well to bang the mold on the counter a couple of times, so whether you want bubbles in the candy or not, the mold will release the bubbles. You can also squeeze the sides a bit to prevent the candy from being rushed into the cracks. One of my only complaints is that when faced with removing the tails and snouts, the thin parts of the seahorse broke almost immediately. The only thing you have to do is peel back the mold and out it comes, but be careful to get the mermaid tail out without breaking it if you aren't careful. I think the product is really great!.

I gave them 4 stars because they are small yet make cute ice cubes for the ocean punch room about 2 x 4 inches only except for the mermaid tail overall they are small but make cute ice cubes. It took 3 hours for the ice to solidify and then three and a half hours to pop it out. To make the candy melt molds I used sugar art dust to coat the ice.

This year, I had so much fun making her cake. For the first time in my life, I used For the fondant, I used a piping bag. I would recommend dusting the mold with corn starch before you use it to make the removal easier. Make your tails thin so they won't break. When I made them thick, my tails kept breaking, so I just made them thinner and that worked for me. It took me overnight to paint them after they had dried. They should then be let dry for another night before placement on cake, using buttercream as They are delicate after being made due to all of the details, so handling them should be done with care and with low humidity. Sadly, the one seahorse mold did not look like it came with a baby one, and the baby was not formed properly, and so it just looked odd. But a second mold came with a smaller seahorse that worked great. Therefore, the problem is not that big. It is a pleasure to work with them and highly recommend them.
