Questions & Answers
It's 71/8 inches long, according to my tape measure. 7 1/8 in. x 7 1/8 in. on the inside of the dish, near the bottom.
The top of the pan measures 10" by 8 1/2" on the outside (not including the handles).
If it's still stuck, submerge it in an inch of hot water in a tray or sink, then submerge it in ice water in the top pan. Temperatures should cause the bottom pan to expand and the top pan to contract.
I believe so; it was a good fit for me.

I baked acorn squash in the toaster oven for the first time. When I was finished, I took it out and we continued to eat our meal. I put the (not very hot) pan in the sink after dinner, and it literally exploded all over my kitchen. Glass shards, large and small, strewn about! br>br>I assumed it was a one-time occurrence. So I placed an order on Amazon for this one - Isn't Pyrex Pyrex Pyrex Pyrex Pyrex Pyrex Pyre I made meatloaf for dinner tonight - the pan was taken out of the oven and placed on the stovetop - It went off without warning! There's glass and meatloaf all over the place! It's incredible that no one was injured in either of these explosions, and I intend to file complaints with both Amazon and Pyrex about this extremely dangerous product. I see there are other similar reviews - This is something you should not buy!.
This is a dangerous baking dish! As I was taking it out of the oven, it exploded in my oven mitt and all over my oven and floor. There were large pieces as well as small shards, one of which got stuck in my finger while I was cleaning. After cleaning up the food and glass, I Googled "exploding Pyrex bakeware" and came across a Consumer Affairs website, as well as others, with numerous reports of similar incidents. Some of these pieces, as well as others of varying sizes, exploded on their tables and even in their cabinets! They all claimed to have baked at various temperatures and with various foods. Why haven't any recalls been issued? What's the point of selling them now? I've already tossed the other one I bought on Amazon, and I'm not going to use the 9 x 13 one I got here. I plan to file a complaint with Pyrex as well, but I'm hoping that this review will save someone else from the mess and possible injury. These were purchased to replace an amber-colored one that I had owned for over 30 years.
I didn't get what was shown in the picture. The bottom of the product says Pyrex, but the packaging was nothing more than bubble wrap. There is no original equipment manufacturer packaging available. The dish has ridges on both sides. I was attempting to match my other Pyrex dishes, which are similar in appearance to the ones shown.
Not at all what is depicted in the image. Although it claims to be Pyrex, there was no barcode on the paper. It also has ridges on both sides. I don't see this in any of the photos or reviews. What makes yours unique? It appears to be a little thinner than my previous one.
I can't say whether or not these are effective. The baking dishes in the two-set pack arrived without any materials separating them, and they are stuck together as if they were held together by the strongest glue ever created. They weren't shrink-wrapped together; instead, they were stacked on top of each other. Stacking is all. I'll give soaking in warm water a shot to see if it helps. This, however, is not what I expected when I placed my order. Update: We tried everything we could to get them apart, but it didn't work. They appear to be ideal if we could only put them to good use. They'll be returned to you.
This is the traditional way of doing things. The pan as taught in school. It lacks the new products' angled sides and is far more'square. ' If you're looking for a glass baking dish with the least amount of taper, this is the one to get. I looked at the new ones with the easy-to-use handles, and the taper angle is severe, implying that whatever you're cooking will be 'thicker' than you might want. Because the bottom is smaller, the volume of food must go somewhere, and it can only go up. To put it another way, if you remove capacity from the bottom of the dish, if you expect 2" think brownies, they will now be thicker and all the edge pieces will be tapered on one side. As you can see, I dislike the new design and prefer this one.
The photo depicted a clear pyrex dish with its original handles, which was obviously false advertising.
