I'm not sure I grasped the nature of your query. The lid has a rim that goes all the way around the container's perimeter. It makes no contact with the glass's interior. It produces a water-resistant environment. a good seal Of course, because it's made of plastic, it can't be used in the oven or when the contents are very hot, but I believe it's dishwasher and microwave safe.

As the title implies, it was nothing like the image displayed. It was a completely new design. I returned it because it was supposed to be a gift for a friend. What she received was completely different from what she had previously received, as well as the image displayed.
Glass handles were included with the dish. I recently broke my covered casserole dish and was looking for a similar one to replace it with. This was the closest match I could find. Many others have glass handles built in, which I didn't want. The handles extend the dish's overall length, making it difficult to store in the refrigerator or dishwasher. Internally, the length is also a little shorter.
It was never put to use by me. It is stated in the product description that it is 2. 9" in depth I did measure it when I got it, and it's 2. It's the same size as the one I already had, and it's 25" deep. I gave it back to you.
For many of the recipes I prepare, I use Pyrex 3qt. Mine was broken, so I had to get a new one. It's an essential in my kitchen because you can bake it, set it on the table, serve it out of it, snap the lid on and put it in the fridge, and reheat leftovers with ease.
I received a pyrex easy grab style instead of the one advertised. I requested a replacement and sent it back. We'll see if the right one shows up.
If you want to make an oblong cake, you won't be able to use a thick frosting in this pan. It's quite narrow, so there won't be much room on top for a cover.
So when we got married about 12 years ago, I got one of these. When I took it out of the oven one Thanksgiving, I made the mistake of putting it on hot stove burners. shattered on the spot I got one of their "new" ones with a red lid and handles that "fit" into the lid. Since the beginning, I've despised that thing. My fridge always smells like whatever is in it because it doesn't close properly. I had to pay a lot more for this one than I should have, but I got rid of my red one and am loving it!.
I was dissatisfied with the shipping packaging. It's a baking dish made of glass. There was no packaging. Only bubble wrap was used to wrap the package, and it was left on the front porch. The dog dragged it off the steps, into the yard, and ripped off the bubble wrap, but thankfully did not chew the plastic lid. However, the dish remained intact. All of this was captured on surveillance video. This is the first time I've been let down by Amazon's delivery service. I understand that the dog is my issue; however, I wish it had arrived in a box with bubble wrap.
