This is what I use to keep leftover hamburgers in the fridge. For four burgers, it's ideal. I'm trying to make the switch from plastic to glass, and this is exactly what I needed. The lid is also strong enough to be stacked with glass containers.
This dish has now been used to bake a number of items, and I'm completely satisfied. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose. But only if it had an easier-to-remove lid. It's also not very easy to put on. As a result, you might never have to deal with this- , you never keep anything fresh in the dish, or you're not taking it to a potluck or something- If that's the case, you're good to go. But getting into and out of my brownies was more aggravating for me than you'd expect, capiche?.
Years ago, I had a glass pan like this. I'm not sure what happened to it, but I knew it was the one I wanted. When I bake brownies in this, I absolutely adore how they bake and turn out. The lid is also flawless. Allows you to keep the brownies fresh without having to remove them from the pan. I was looking for a particular thickness of glass, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It's also a breeze to clean up.
These tiny glass dishes are absolutely beautiful. The kids should be snug enough to keep the food secure, but not so tight that it jumbles or jumps out when you remove them. They can be stacked and are dishwasher-safe. I immediately began using them to bake small cakes, divide casseroles for two households, and store large amounts of leftovers. I'm not sure how I survived before they came along. This is an excellent item.
A week ago, I ordered and received the Anchor Hocking 8" glass baking dish. Care was one of the components. Follow the directions that say "do not use in toaster ovens" - This restriction was not visible on the Amazon page where I made my purchase. I intended to use my Cuisinart Chef's Convection Toaster Oven to prepare the dish. I contacted the manufacturer to see if it was safe for me to use, but I have yet to receive a response. I'm disappointed because it's exactly what I wanted, but I'm not sure if it's safe to use now.
Anchor Hocking glass baking dish is perfect. It has a lid and is the perfect size. It was a little on the pricey side, but it arrived in two days and was Anchor Hocking. As a result, I'm confident that this can safely be transferred from the freezer to the oven.
This is a fantastic baking dish that will last a long time. I'm glad I bought one to supplement my bakeware collection. It's great that it includes a lid!.
I received my glass dish. It was in a box with no bubble wrap or other protective material to keep it from shattering, which it did. Ugh! It's now up to me to bring it in and return it. I despise being forced to jump through hoops due to the sender's poor planning.
