I would guess an inch and a half to two". As for the rod, I just used a regular size one. I like the way they hang.
There is no difference in color on either side
A single panel is used. A single panel was all I needed for my small 32" window. It is necessary to have more than one window if you have a wider
To measure the length of the valance, measure 10" from the bottom of the curtain rod to the shortest part of the valance. About four feet is the distance between the top of the curtain (above the rod) and the bottom. It measures 14.5".

They are expected to be used in a pair for my kitchen windows, which are 84 inches long. Compared to the previous color, this one was somewhat The one on the left is darker than the one on the right. 3.
These are both unevenly stitched at the edge. I think they make such an ugly pair when I pair them together. Attached is a picture of the attached picture.
The stitching was poor as well, so it was a waste of.
Well, I have never written a review before, but after receiving these curtain valances I felt it necessary to share my opinion. As pictured, they are lighter in color than what is shown. It was evident that there was some hair on them, so I decided to wash them first. If you get the grayish white they should really be white. I read the reviews but thought well it looks so much darker in the picture but it is what it is. I will dye them to a darker gray if they look bad and I am such a crafty kind of person.
This color appears off in my yellow and white kitchen and it does not match. With my white cabinets and redecorating my kitchen, the star white color looks dirty and dingy. Further, I think the style would look better with two so that there would be a little more room in between them. Although they don't have high quality material, I think the fabric is okay considering the price. It had a little satin ribbon on the bottom that I thought was very cute. Although I will not be keeping these up, I don't think the shipping cost is worth it to return them.
It is two of the gray valances that I ordered. One of them was lined with satin and the other did not, in addition to their different shades of grey. This has disappointed me greatly.
Upon first glance, I never made the connection that those curtains were the same black and material as my grommet curtains in my living room and dining room. For those windows, I had to come back and order them again. I like the look of them! I'll be in jet black! The look and feel of these shoes are both great. It is true, however, that they all vary in This isn't a deal breaker, however, since I came up with an idea with some fabric tape and a few minutes of my time.
I was a bit disappointed with this product. The color was different from what was advertised and the length was too short. The item has a $6 return fee. When I went to return it, that was what I found out. We charge a return fee of $0. 00. It is not worth the effort. Keep your money in your pocket.
You sew the scallop on the bottom of the valance as you sew the Since more fabric will be taken up by the bottom than the top, the bottom of the valance will appear shorter. The extra length I am ordering was due to the fact that I am in the middle of two drapes that are in a corner, so I can sew a piece on to these to fill in the gap without you noticing. In addition to rods that curve into the wall, I am also using end caps that wrap around the ends of the rods. While I'll be aware of its presence, I won't be able to see it. Whatever it may be worth, keep this in mind if you intend to use the valance in any way. The valance is otherwise nice, and I am keeping it.
