Your windowsill will receive brackets that you just need to attach to the top. It depends on the length of the blind how many brackets it has (usually two or four). In order to mount the brackets, two screws must be used. You snap the blinds into place after the brackets have been secured. You don't have to do anything complicated.
Because both of them are made of the same material, the light should be identical. I do not see a difference in the way the white reflects the light. The white is a little brighter so it may reflect more of the light. Ryan, thanks for the feedback. The lighting is slightly off white during daylight.
Materials made from this material have a porous, textured surface. I have not seen mildew in my first set of these blinds in the three years since I bought them. However, i would suggest being vigilant with your cleaning if it should occur when you install the blinds.

Fabric with a high level of resilience. I am amazed! There are two cats that will not take no for an answer as to how to get to the window sills, regardless of the blinds. This blind was bought 8 months ago and it is still looking excellent! I notice my cats paw at the panel until they get their nose behind it, pushing the panel inward until it bends to where the internal, vertical cord is located. In the area of the cord, there are barely visible minor creases. When I think about how often my cats damage these shades, I find them to be remarkably resilient. I am so impressed that I just ordered 8 more for my other windows right after my cat moved the panel inward. I am amazed at how they soften and become even more crisp when I retract the shade all the way back up for a while.

They provide great value and customer service. home improvement stores can find and install the "off the shelf" brands with the desired length, they cannot do the same with the length of them. I had too much excess length for my existing windows since most "off the shelf" brands are 72 inches long. Several important points were explained in the instructions, which made the blinds easy to install. into the rails (to raise and lower the bed) need to be pressed firmly in place before they snap in. I rated the blinds four out of five stars due to the fact that one end of the top rail is slightly warped in the largest of the "Top Down Bottom Up" blinds I ordered (71W x 59H). Installing this product was very simple, and I like the fact that it's top down in order for it to be light but also privacy-preserving. It was so easy to order blinds from this company and have them made to fit just perfectly all over the house. I like it even more than dealing with Lowe's or Home Depot. My experience in dealing with window treatments has been good in three different homes that I've lived in that were newly constructed and all new window treatments were required. This was the easiest and smoothest experience I've had. We had an issue with one of the blinds, and they were quick to replace it. The price was also very good. Truly an amazing experience and I would recommend them highly.
I love them. In my home office, I have a large window facing the Bay and a piece of cut glass that hangs inside the top of it. Although I did not want to cover it with blinds during the night, I still needed privacy. There was a problem with those blinds, but these blinds solved it. There is only one thing I need to do now lower my blinds from the bottom of the cut glass upward. Communication with the seller was excellent and the product was of great quality. My blinds were delivered to me from California within a few days after I called the seller at the number provided on Amazon's product description. They confirmed my measurements and within about five days they had been delivered to me from California. The installation was also extremely easy.

These blinds have been delivered to me three times. I have two smaller sizes that I've had since months, and a really wide one for a double window which I just got recently. I installed the two small ones right away and they worked like a charm. A new one just arrived and the long one was sagging on one side. I emailed the company and sent a picture asking how we can fix it and they sent a brand new one to replace it! The company is really easy to work with. We put the banner up and it looks great! blinds are relatively simple to install except for snapping those little hand-holds onto them. You have to be very strong to do this!.
The blinds arrived in such good condition, and I was very impressed with their quality. The quality of these blinds is ten times better than other blinds I have bought online. I paid a bit less for other blinds, but the price was lower on these. My blinds look and work just like much more expensive blinds I have had in the past.
