Dear customer, the minimum window depth for an inside window mount is 2 inches. I hope this information is useful to you. br>The Customer Service Team at Grandekor
Mine are 36" long and retract to about an inch and a quarter of their original length. They do not appear to take up any more space than a roll-up blind.
Dear customer,br>For an inside mount 36-inch width, we recommend purchasing 36-inch blinds as a guide, as 35-inch blinds may leak light. If you don't mind light leaks or if your window has frames, 35 inches is a good option. br>I hope it is of assistance to you. br>With best wishes, the Granddekor Customer Service Team
This item was not made in the United States. There isn't much of it these days. They appeared to be frail to me. But once they're up, they're fine, and they do an excellent job of darkening my room.

I needed new blinds for our new house, and I decided to give these a try because of their room darkening properties. They fit perfectly and are simple to install. As you can see in the photos, they definitely darken the room. It's a little pricey, but I'm willing to pay a little more for something that actually works. I needed more for the other bedrooms, so I went out and purchased some more.
Our blue door went perfectly with the shade color. The header and bottom bars, however, should match the shade color (hence the four stars). br>The shade was simple to hang thanks to the included hardware, and it functions as expected. As you can see in my photo, I could have used a little more width to completely block the light, but we like it and would recommend it.
This shade is fantastic—it's well-made, sturdy, and the cell material appears to be of superior quality. It's so easy to put together—just two screws and you're good to go. The entire experience is far superior to the far more expensive options available at e. Home Depot is a store that sells various home improvement products I'm going to order several more for our other windows!.
These do an excellent job of obstructing light. Make sure you measure the width of the window at both the top and bottom, as they should be the same. The length is also perfect, but it could be an inch or two longer at the bottom because they tend to retract a little. To keep them in place, I'll use a small rare earth magnet at the bottom and on the window sill.
These blackout blinds came in white and blue, which I chose. They do an excellent job of blocking light. They were simple to install and included anchors and screws (which were not included with other brands). When I took them out of the box, I was concerned because they were not as thick as the others I had purchased- One inch vs. one and a half inch However, they were equally effective. br> I would have given it five stars if it hadn't been for the color. The color isn't as vibrant or deep as the listing photo. It looks fine where I hung them, so I guess they're blue enough.
I couldn't be more pleased with this product; I installed them today, and it took me longer to remove the old, cheap blinds than it did to install these new blinds. They're incredibly durable and completely dark. Pictures of the inexpensive blinds next to these are attached (the inexpensive blinds also have a foam layer behind them to help block out light). I did an overmount with about an inch extra on each side, and I'm very pleased with the results. I intend to purchase additional items for the guest room. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
These blinds are lovely, but my cat is way too enamored of them, and the material is very thin. They're almost $60 for one medium-sized window, so I'm hoping they last longer than a week. The sun sets directly in front of my bedroom window and my television. The blinds do an excellent job of blocking it out. They're simple to open, so putting them up before I leave will be simple, but I'm worried about what will happen if I forget the first day. Also, they are narrower than I expected, which makes them a better fit for my window, but I'm not sure if I was overcharged for a larger blind than I ordered, or if they run small; I'll measure tonight.
The price/benefit ratio is exactly what I'm looking for. I've had this product for a few months (during which we've had both sunny and snowy days) and I can say that it's a good product: the size I purchased (46 x 48) was perfect for my bedroom windows. Protect your bedroom from the sun's heat and light while also keeping it warm. br>The only drawback is the mechanism for folding the shades: In order for the shade to stay covering the entire window, I have to pull out more than the size of my window. If I didn't do it that way, the shade would continue to fold up and leave a gap at the bottom. br>Now that I'm used to doing it, it's not a big deal for me, and the overall appearance and quality compensate for that minor flaw.
