The fabric of Decor Avenue Top Down Bottom Up Light Filtering shades allows light to pass through to the room (these are not blackout shades). In addition to providing sound absorption, providing PRIVACY, energy efficiency and contemporary styling with color coordinated smooth satin rails and bottom rails, these cellular shades provide energy efficiency during all seasons. In order to satisfy the HOA requirements, the shade fabric must be covered in WHITE. A 6 on a 10-point scale indicating a high level of privacy.

There is a high probability you will get one of the two. My privacy is enabled by the whitest filter, and that is what I have.

This is not a dark color it's a bright one.

This shade assembly is worth it, even for a novice

The packages were well-protected and the shades came in good condition. There is an extra screw included in the package as well as everything included in the package. Although we are in our late 60s or 70s and have limited carpentry experience, we struggled with mounting the cabinets. I'm sore in the neck from this work! Only two of the six could be hung per day due to time constraints. I found the mounting brackets very difficult to use. I couldn't find any videos to watch on you tube with this type of bracket. It would have been better to have pictures included with the instructions. I've finally figured it out! For novice shades, expect to spend about a half hour mounting each one. We are so pleased that they are Children and pets will not be tripped up by cords, and smooth operation is guaranteed. If we did not have to hang them ourselves, I would give it 5 stars.

I was not able to easily install it in my bathroom window, but it was well worth the price

Adapts perfectly and is easy to use. When I pulled the shade up and down, I believed that it would need adjusting to align right from left. Despite this, I find it easier to use than my corded cellular shades, even though it doesn't require any tweaking. Privacy is my favorite part of the house. I can enjoy the trees and sky while having privacy.

No cords are attached to the unit and it looks clean and modern. This company is offering the best price and higher quality. I talked to several companies and this one has the best price. We will certainly buy more in the future.

Overall, a pretty decent product for a decent price. It was very thoughtful of them to package them in the carton. It was a bit difficult to use the brackets. They were a bit awkward to install with a rachet wrench.
