There is no limit to the depth that these shades can be installed in. A shade can be installed with as little as 1/2" depth of the headrail, which sits 1 1/4" deep.

There are no instructions included with it, which is one of its cons. Two hours of work were charged to me by a handyman. We had to remove the old aluminum venetian blinds and install the new ones – it was a lot of work The strings of which, I might add, lasted 34 years before fraying. This is a very attractive blind, and it's very easy to move up and down, and it does indeed reduce glare as it claims. I am reminded, though, of the negative association of this type of honeycomb blind. The only material it is made of is reinforced paper, so it will eventually fall apart and fall apart if it is handled roughly. Additionally, if you grab the blind by anything other than their plastic handle, the blind will show fingerprints and look dirty eventually, and will not be able to be cleaned as plastic or metal blinds are. Even though they are attractively priced, aluminum venetian blinds are more durable and last longer. They seem to be doing fine for the type of blind they are catering to in terms of the way they look and also how they function so far. ** Update** They have held up great and I still think they're brand new. I've now had them for several months and they are still looking their best. I live in a 132-year-old house with strangely shaped A large number of them face east, so they have a lot of ‘sun glare’ in A few blackout blinds made to order from this company were installed by me. I am in love with the blinds! While they did not come with instructions, I found them easy to install and the spring loaded hardware gave my blinds more security than other blind hardware I've had! These blinds are in our living room and dining room - six of them plus one in our bedroom. Those shades look amazing, and they really do block out the dark! Getting rid of glare on your TV is now possible! This is serious (seriously There is no way to tell if the lights are on or not from the outside, because it was daylight when I took the "shades down" photo. 1) They are sturdy, easy to adjust, and they stay in place when you move.

I love my new blinds

They're much better than what I had before. I really like these Until I installed them after I removed my existing blinds, I didn't realize the benefits. It is easy for them to be lifted up and down since they are lightweight. With the shades up, they appear to be almost nonexistent for the reason that there is almost no space to insert them. When they are down, they block all the sunlight. Because they are insulating, they keep the room much cooler, which is an important factor Besides the three I purchased for my TV window, I also bought three for my other windows.

It looks good, but there are no instructions on how to use it! Thanks to my saving of the instructions from the shade I purchased a few weeks ago, I was able to follow them. I was so fortunate to be able to witness that! My brain would never have come up with a solution to this problem.

This is a replacement of Blackout Roller shades for Honeycomb Cordless-style shades You made the right choice! This is a modern version of my old roller shades, which did not have much blackout. Easy to install, quick to pull down, and also easy to push up. Very pleased with this product. (Even though, in the picture, they appear gray - There is only one race).
