A round hole was on the back of each mount and a rounded hole was on the front. In the middle is a hole of a rectangle. Each mount was provided with two screws. There were two screws in the round holes of each mount. The blinds couldn't be attached to the mount due to this issue. The long hole in the middle could only be fitted with one screw per mount, so I had to switch. There is no indication of how to do this in either the paper or the video instructions. I like that the blinds move up and down smoothly, and I like that there is no cord to endanger my.

The blinds are beautifully made and perfect. My impatient Husband installed the blinds and not a word of four letter words was heard, so it was just as easy as what the reviews said it would be.

I really like these products and the installation was easy. The only light filtering shades that can be found at Home Depot or Lowe's are fake. This vendor had ample dimensions for the width, and the length was not a problem since the window was so short. As far as I can tell, this is the closest thing to "true" white that I have.

The mounting screws included with this blind are too large and block clips that are used to clip the blind on to the brackets, if you want to install it on the inside of the window frame, like most would. There is a very serious design flaw here. By taking the time to measure, you will be able to determine the You will find that if you drill and install the brackets, you cannot snap the blind into the brackets because the heads of the screws prevent the blind from latching on. Due to this issue, I had to install the bracket using the included screw (one each), which was not intended to be used for this purpose. With those screws, the bracket could snap into place and allow for the blind to snap in. I didn't receive the mounting hardware with the first blind, and there wasn't a box with it. As if it were an open box order, the package was in a very bad condition. The product would be avoided by me.

The first time I reviewed these blinds, I would have said that they were great value for money, they were easy to install, and they look stunning. But the lungs of the crows broke after they have been in use for a year. During the first six months of use, the tension string on one side of the blind broke. We still had part of the blind usable for two more months, but the other side had broken, so now we have an unusable blind, unless we want it closed all the time. We had to dispose of it in a landfill The product apparently comes with a warranty. I'll contact Bali to find out what happens next. Unless you are going to use the blind regularly, I would avoid it unless you are installing it in a space that won't be used frequently. *UPDATE* - Beware of buyer beware - The warranty is unlikely to cover replacement of the product. In addition, the manufacturer was not willing to cover it under warranty as the retailer (which makes no sense), but when I addressed this issue with Amazon, the company said it could not do anything outside the 30 day return window (which also makes sense) and that I needed This was my first communication with the manufacturer, and they were emphatic that it was the retailers' Then, I asked them if anyone notified the retailer as I think there has been a lack of communication that could have led to a big gap where NO ONE is responsible, leaving the consumer out in the cold. A new item was eventually sent to me by the manufacturer. It is an updated "value line" color from their stock, but an exact replacement is not offered.
