They are of high quality. The curtains block out the sun, but they are not necessarily black out curtains. Specifically, I purchased the shade for a window above my sink which has an odd shape (39" x 39"). The option to do blackout was essential to me since I live in Las Vegas and we have hot days that reach 110 degrees. A Blackout is also insulated, and it can block a great deal of heat efficiently. As I was unboxing/unbagging it, I noticed it was in a clear package, inside which were two shades neatly folded inside a box. The folds left some wrinkles, so you may need to steam or iron them before hanging them. Due to the fact that I was gathering them up and tying them, I left it alone. They are exactly as pictured. I love them. The colors are just as shown in the picture. There are no wrinkles on the fabric. It is a great addition to our room. Due to our house's orientation, I won't need to raise or lower them very often, since I mainly need them to let in afternoon sunlight, so they are very convenient for our needs, but when I do raise or lower them, they tie easily and hold their shape.

I love how thick, so soft, and how gorgeous the blackout is! You can get amazing quality for a really low price. This piece is grayish white and I have another in biscotti beige tucked away in The house needed to be remodeled at the ideal time. For the rest of the house, I am going to buy nicetown blackout tabtop blackout drapes. These are well worth the price, and they look nothing like cheap imitations.

The first time I looked at these panels I wasn't sure they would cover the stupid small pointless 3 windows above our bed, but my husband managed to put them up and they look excellent. Your best chance of getting the results you want is if you are patient enough to work with them!.

It has a good build quality, so everything works well. However, I had to choose a different fabric for my kitchen window because this one was too short. As far as the length is concerned, it is excellent. However, due to the narrow width, it does not adequately cover the area.
