I initially worried that they might be thin, but they've been great so far. There's been over a month since I last checked in.
My pleated drapes hung perfectly on normal rods when I put them up. With a little effort, the rings could be hidden by moving the drapery pins down even The classic curtain/drapes look can be achieved easily, and it's safe and secure with a sliding rod.
The curtains that I ordered required a ring for the pleat hook, so I ordered these for them. It is above and beyond what I expected. They are very cheap but do the job perfectly. These are very easy to use, and based off of experience with wood rings, they slide open and closed much more conveniently than It wasn't an issue for me since I accidentally ordered way too many, but I did notice that one or two of them were missing the smallest ring which holds the curtain in place.
My favorite part of these curtain rings is the ring. If you sew them on with carpet thread, you can hook them onto an existing curtain hook or use an existing curtain hook. The curtains will be pinned behind each crease with a curtain hook. They will actually be hooked on with a curtain hook. The curtains I have (that mom custom made) are vintage. There are some heavy ones (they weigh a lot). In the past, they were hooked onto a traverse rod, but I wanted to change it up, so I attached them to a tree trunk! There is a lot of metal in the rings, they are solid and large, and they all appear to be similarly shaped and weighing the same. They are the right size and I am happy with them so far!.
Rods used for hanging medium-weight drapery panels are 5/8" in diameter. I like how easy they slide, they are well made, and they have a consistent finish. The weight is lighter than those rings that sell for $5. The cost is $7, but it's substantial enough that it's not a problem.
The drapery hooks worked great with these for hanging pinch pleated curtains.
The ring size for the 1" matte black rod is exactly what I wanted.
I would recommend these rings to anyone looking for a stable and good ring.
