If you have a large recliner, the chair would not fit well in the recliner. My band is well-fitting, and remains in place without any issue. Although it's described as a soft suede, it actually feels more like cotton, and isn't as soft as I expected. During my testing, it was true to its word that it is water proof, and pet hair is easily removed. Though it slides around a little on leather. As a whole, I am not convinced I am going to save them. It does, however, protect your furniture well, and it is affordable.

During his 2 weeks in a recliner after shoulder surgery, my husband had to rest his arm on a cushion. In addition to preserving the recliner, I purchased the cover to protect it from wear and tear. He complained of having really bad itching in his back a few days after the surgery. When I first noticed it it seemed to be the medication, I thought it was the plastic, but later realized it was the medication. Several of the spots on his body had disappeared within a few days from removing the rash pad. If he hadn't been in that chair so long, things would have been fine.

As far as the product fits on the seat, it is satisfactory. There is an issue with the fabric covered strap that crosses across the back of the chair. It hangs loosely and is too big. Having to knot it was a hassle. It is ok to have an elastic strap with a buckle. The looped front straps are the cause of my problem. Then how are they supposed to be connected? It was difficult to find anything to hook onto underneath the cushion and I could not get the strap to stay, even when I tried stretching it between the cushion and the chair side. I tried finding something under the chair to hook it on to, but it wouldn't stay. Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong?.

There is one, however, negative aspect of the product the cover slides when reclining, so having to adjust it quite frequently is necessary. Amazon has given me another recliner cover to try, which is slightly too small to fit my second recliner, but I don't need to adjust it nearly as frequently. It is a nice recliner but I took all the measurements for my new one, nevertheless, the arm covers are huge when reclining, and the material is pulled into the frame causing the material to bunch up. First of all, the foot rest strap ripped the first week it was used. For someone like me who is both a clean freak and needs to keep their chairs clean, this cover is perfect. As a result of my cervical spine decompression and fusion procedure, I was unable to sleep on my back. I bought this recliner recently from Amazon and it is by far the most comfortable chair I've ever slept on or sat in.

I like how thick it is and how non-porous it is It has a slipper underside. My chair was not compatible with all straps We were able to make it work despite the fact that they should have specified that it was for a recliner without a solid footrest. Although the pockets on the right side of the chair are very handy to keep items close at hand, I (think) that I wish there wasn't quilting as it leaves marks on my back when wearing dresses or shorts and the quilting can sometimes cause your butt to become sore. The back and sides have great corners to keep spilled liquids contained in the cover and to prevent it from seeping through the seat. As I said, I do recommend this product, and I didn't receive anything for doing so.
