The chairs are for scratching posts for my cats since my chair is not a scratching post! As soon as I got a new chair, I wanted the cats to understand that this isn't a scratching post, and it worked like a charm. I'll remove the cover one day ("when the Queen comes to visit" haha) and hopefully by then, the cats will be trained that if the chair is not there, then it is not.

Since my chairs are at the top significantly wider than I imagined, I didn't realize they were so wide. As a result, when I tried them on they almost didn't fit, but they fit perfectly in the end. The thought of having plastic covers over my furniture is not appealing to me but it is worth it for the kids and the cat. It does not look as bad as I expected either.

Cat claws are a major issue with bar chairs, so I purchased these covers to protect them. The description had me thinking I'd have to figure something out about the top, but I didn't have any problems figuring it out. There may be no protection from scratches at all for chairs since the plastic does not appear to be thick, but cats do not love it, so they are not using it.

There is no question that my cat likes to get under the plastic and climb the chairs more now that there is a covering than before. It is as if the claws go right through the covering, despite its superficial appearance. These cats have holes in them, so I can't send them back. I don't need them for my needs, but they may be useful on other occasions.

I hope they can help me get through the holidays. These are absolutely thin, so I hope they can withstand the daily use and extended exposure to the elements. A package was terribly wrinkled, and the other package was creased due to package damage. In order to prevent my dining room chairs from looking as though I put packaging materials over them, I hope the wrinkles will relax. There's a chance they could have used a heavier-grade plastic and stitching to make these.

The plastic furniture covers I bought for my new chairs may not be my favorite, but I bought them to keep my cats off them. used one package first, and the cats dislike sitting on the chair protectors a great deal, and they aren't able to scratch them The upholstered chairs on my other chairs are covered in three more packages that I just purchased. Keeping the cat fur off of my chairs, preventing my cats from scratching them, and making it easy to remove when entertaining guests are their most valuable features.

I must say that it does its job very well! So far, it hasn't gotten too messy, but it has been easy to clean basic food stains off and is thick enough to protect whatever it's covering from damage. However, I wish the pants were a bit more fitted because they seem to be rather However, I think they are also made to fit a variety of chair styles, so that is why they are large. However, since it was for my nieces, I was fine with it being as is. I suppose you could clip or pin it to look more fitted, but as this was for my nieces, I was fine with it being as it is!.
