Unfortunately, it is spelled incorrectly! It was so stinky in my house that I had to have my windows open for two days straight. I don't know what chemicals they used, but they were awful. My Amazon account was contacted by Amazon the next day for a replacement due to the funky earthy smell for the first three days. A new one was sent out, but it stinks just as much. Perhaps the first one had gotten wet from being in the rain or something like that. Upon the return of the second one, it smells exactly the same, and the smell also fades after 3 days. It's so cute! My experience with this company has always been positive. I have bought several rugs from them. The pattern this time was black and white, so I was worried it would shed, but it did not. It only took three days to get rid of the plastic smell. Buying rugs from them again would be a good decision. The prices are reasonable and there is no need to wait for a sale like I used to have to.

His play room has not been remodeled yet since we put it off a week. Upon taking the rug out of the plastic bag it was inside, we noticed that it had a strong smell that smelt like mold and was damp with moisture. It was thought that perhaps if we air it out the smell would go away. Not at all! There is still an unpleasant smell. Lays flat, but does not lay flat. To break down the glue, I sprayed it with water two separate times, even on the back of the shirt. When I unrolled it, it was on the other side. I tried rolling it in the opposite direction and leaving it for a few days before unrolling. Replenish the spray with water. I was mentioned by a friend that it would break up the glue on the back if you put ice on it first. I couldn't get it to work. . . There are some things on it that won't lay flat, even when I try putting heavy things on it! After giving it four months, I thought it would eventually figure itself out . . . but this is really driving me insane, so I feel like I need to get rid of it.

I found this 5x5 rug to be the perfect solution for my needs! I love how plush the padding feels when I walk on it, but it's thin enough that my office chair can roll over it easily.
