My dentist used to give the kids these fish that they would throw away, then the kids would paint them. I had two such fish that were probably 50 or 60 years old. There was some hope that the dentist visit would be more pleasant with this. A kind person painted the fish beautifully for my Aunt. She kept them for many years. The woman had them in her bathroom for years, and I have had mine for years as well. After moving them to a place where I was worried they could be broken or knocked off the wall, I chose to frame them in shadow boxes. (To me) They look really stunning and like the "precious" pieces of art that they are. Besides the shadowbox framing being expertly made and the linen background being perfect, I hope I can find more things to frame in them. Therefore, I will definitely purchase more as I find objects to mount in them in the future. You did an excellent job in Because the fish are heavy and the shadowbox makes them hang to the side, I had a hard time getting them to frame as I wished since they are heavy and the holder has a tendency to make them float.
