Unlike other shelves I've purchased in the past, this one is made of solid wood, not thin press board. The paint job makes it stand out too, compared to similar items I've bought in the past. The door is made of glass, There is a strong clasp and hinges, they won't break or come apart. If you wish to keep your child from getting in, the box has a little key you can use to lock it up. It is a decent quality shelf and worth its price. It comes with a hanger on the back, so you can put your valuables on display right away. There are removable shelves on each end of the unit for displaying bigger items or turning the unit into a collage box, which is what I plan on doing.

I'm sure my husband was blown away by Challenge coins he received he couldn't display properly because he didn't have a good place. Each shelf slides out to allow display of taller items, so he can easily display his other gifts. Though he will probably only display coins in this one, it made a nice presentation for In addition to the key and two solid hole, I like that it is firmly attached to the wall with solid hanging hooks in the back. I mounted it. An interior layer of black velvet is visible on the rear of the display, making it seem more luxurious. Despite not being the finest display, I find this to be a great value for the money and the price is also very reasonable. Most would find the display to be attractive and unassuming so that the coins can stand out on their own. It would be a good idea.

Only one place on the back of the item is for attaching it to a nail or other item to There is a risk that coins might fall out, or it might roll off your wall because it is very tippy. After visiting a local home store, I ended up buying photo frame hooks to fix the problem. So it hangs squarely on the wall, I removed the single hook that came with it and added two new ones (one in each corner).

Based on my experience with four of them, I gave this item an overall rating of 3/5 stars. I received these cases in 2 different colors and they were both fantastic! Item was just as described, great quality, and it arrived sooner than I expected The user interface is very simple. I've added some pins and I've got some ideas They looked wonderful and were a great addition to any outfit Due to the front opening, they could be accessed. It is a five-star review. Immediately I ordered another one, and it turned out to be the exact opposite. It was sloppily made as well as poorly printed. There were so few fibers in the velvet backing that a lapel pin just wouldn't A star is worth one point. There was a defect here and I considered that a defect & A replacement is on the way It's the same issue. To the foam we will add a layer of cellulose There was a thicker velvet case at first, but the last 2 have almost no cushioning. I tried using black fabric to make it work, but I don't know if the original ones were one-offs or I just got the wrong ones.

In the case, the coins are displayed beautifully, and some of the shelves can be removed, giving you the option of displaying coins in slabs and graded. I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance of the product. As well as being reasonably priced, the case looked great. His collection requires more than 2, so we will be purchasing more in the future as needed.

In addition to having 2 shelves that can be removed, it looks nice. The two hinges would have been more secure if they had been attached with 3 solid screws rather than just 2 tiny screws each. Having 12 screws instead of 4 would have been great. As the hinge is capable of supporting 6 screws, it would have been nice if it had them. I added screws to stabilize the case door, so I gave it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for that. Wall hangers are attached, so nice. Case door is sturdy now, otherwise I would have given it.

During the last few years, the size of ship coins has been increasing, so I wanted something that would accommodate that. My shelf space was reduced by two for two rows of 3" coins, but it worked out perfectly for me. There is no option to remove the top shelf, so it must definitely hold only standard The bottom row of the grid will also be standard-size. This is an easy to hang sign.
