I think that this lamp oil is a good product, but since buying it I learned there is a lamp oil/candle dye available that will allow you to color your lamp oil any color you desire. Comparing the price of this to the price of clear oil, it is pretty expensive. When compared with clear oil, I find the oil overpriced, and since I have found out that coloring oil is so easy and cheap, I don't see the point of purchasing it. The price difference seems to be a bit confusing to me. A purchase like this is probably not a wise purchase if you generally use hurricane lamps and enjoy colored oil. In addition to purchasing the clear oil by the gallon, I color it within the lamp while it is still warm. Infrance stick, etc)
