The music box is really cute, but the contents don't last long. Bringing the wonder to us didn't seem to have any weird effects, but it broke after about two weeks. As I had a newborn, I popped the knob off and found we could wind it with pliers or something, but who has time for all of that. I find the quality of the music box to be very poor. During our use of it twice, the app worked for just a few seconds before it just stopped working. It is not pleasant to our baby to listen to that kind of music. It does not seem to soothe our baby and in fact seems to stress her Our recommendation is not to use it. It's cute and I love everything about it except the plastic pieces that contain the hanging mechanism to make it from the main body but the plastic pieces are pink not white, so it's hard to distinguish that the majority of the mobile is blue fabric and the music box and hanging arm are.
