It's adorable and enjoyable. Everything was exactly how I expected it to be. Included are all of the items. It was a little smaller than I had anticipated, but that's okay. For scale, I used a Sharpie. It'll be given as a present, so it won't be opened. Once it's been opened, I'll rewrite my review.
This was a little smaller than I anticipated, but it was still adorable. The size of the basket is shown in the photo, and it fits in the shopping cart I received for Christmas to go with it.
This is something I really wanted to like. I would have returned it if it hadn't been for my toddler's fondness for the actual food and knife. It's a cute and entertaining toy in general. Offers a variety of options and teaches children about portion control, but the price seems a little high for the actual quality of the pieces. My toddler doesn't even look at five of the pieces, and I can't blame her; they're cheap and boring. Before you go out and buy something, think about how you'll use it.
She enjoys filling the basket with items and carrying it around with her. She uses it on a daily basis. It's so adorable! br>br>The only thing I didn't like about it was that it included a couple of cardboard pieces, which I think are unnecessary and stupid. I had no choice but to discard it. The other pieces, on the other hand, are all of a reasonable size. They're not as tiny as the ones included in the Just Play Minnie Bowtique Bowtastic Kitchen Accessory Set. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and the great price I got! It was well worth the money.
Velcro holds a lot of the pretend food pieces together. She adores the fact that it can be "cut" with a small plastic knife. When the pieces aren't "cut" apart, they stick together surprisingly well.
It's a little smaller than I expected, but it's just right for my two-year-old daughter. It's a cute item for any Minnie Mouse fan, and the velcro is a unique feature not found in most play food sets.
With this grocery basket, you can have a lot of pretend fun. When properly taught, the pretend knife cuts the pretend bread, providing a safe lesson in cooking and food preparation to the toddler or preschooler. They can act as if they are shopping, organizing, and preparing meals. This is an excellent toy or tool. It is both educational and entertaining.
Although I was expecting the pieces inside the basket to be a little larger than they were, this turned out to be a favorite toy for both my children (ages 20 months and 4 years). Because some of the 'halves' have the potential to fit completely inside your child's mouth, a three-year-old recommendation is necessary.
