I'm using this for my Zen room and putting yoga stuff in them. I'm blown away by the durability and strength. My mother stated that they appear to collapse and do not stand up like a "basket," which is correct, but the strength with which they are constructed compensates for this because they do not collapse, though indentations can be seen. What's the big deal? RECOMMENDED IN HIGH VOLUME.
The large tote is a monster-sized bag. I was able to fit eight pairs of shoes in it, and there was still room for more. They're built to last. They are tightly packaged, according to the other reviews. They do, but the creases are easily removed once the tote is flexed and items are placed inside. You can wash them to remove creases, according to a note in the package, but I don't think that's necessary. Overall, they are a good value for the money and they are adorable.
I really like these baskets and thought they were a great deal. The large one in the photo is holding three average throw blankets, the middle one for dog toys (thanks to my Boston for demonstrating, lol), and the smallest one for a knitting project; they were all shipped folded today, and I was eager to get rid of them. A fantastic tip for removing creases as soon as possible - Invert the baskets and turn them inside out. It's a struggle, but I believe it'll be worthwhile. I turned it back after a few days, but the creases were still visible. It's been a few weeks, and I think I'll give it another shot. The fabric joins when turned inside out are shown in the second photo. They appear to be unfinished, but I don't find this to be an issue. When turned right side out, the seams appear to be in good shape.
Update: 1 year laterbr>The mildew odor faded over time, but the baskets never returned to their original shape, as predicted. They're still squished together at the edges. It was a huge letdown. br>br>These were crammed into an insufficiently sized box. They're not sure if they'll ever get back in shape. Furthermore, all three baskets have a strong odor of mildew, which makes me gag. I'm trying to save them by airing them out. They only get two stars because if they get back into shape, they'll look like the picture. However, I am not confident in their ability to store linens or baby items.
Blankets and toys fit perfectly in these baskets. I bought the large one for our living room and the small ones for our playroom, and I'm already thinking about getting more. I like that these can be used for storage but will not break if the kids decide to play in them. I like the more natural look, so I used to have all woven baskets, but after having kids, I quickly discovered that they weren't very kid proof and began to fall apart. My only complaint is that these baskets arrive creased, but I think that's normal for any basket of this type, and I'm sure they'll reshape nicely over time.
These rope baskets are one of my favorites. They're not only attractive and stylish, but they're also extremely durable. For three, this is a fantastic deal. They're a lot bigger than I expected, which is fantastic. In my living room, I use the largest one for laundry and the other two for hand towels and throw blankets. This is the second set I've purchased, and I intend to continue doing so. They're beautiful, strong, and sturdy, and they can be used to decorate any room in the house. The grey was a perfect match for my home's color scheme. These are great for laundry, decorations, toys, or whatever else you want to put in them. They're big and strong enough to take a lot of punishment.
These baskets are so cute! There are three of them in a set. XL, large, and small are the sizes that I would recommend. They're well-made, long-lasting, and can be used in a variety of ways. In the XL basket, I was able to fit eight large bath towels, four medium hand towels, and four washcloths. In the large size basket, there are six mega-sized Charmin rolls. It's well-organized, light, and surprisingly comfortable. Yes, the baskets are delivered folded, but once filled, they revert to their original shape. It's not necessary to use iron. For anyone who needs more storage space, this is a must-have. It'd be ideal for a child's room or for a college student who needs a laundry basket. I can't say enough good things about these baskets! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!.
I'm hoping that by writing this review, the seller will be inspired to pack them differently. The other items I ordered could have been placed inside the baskets, but they were folded tightly and pressed up against the box instead. Nothing I've done, even stuffing them with toys, has succeeded in smoothing them out months later. The largest basket is acceptable, with a shape that is almost non-existent, though it still folds inward and flops over when not completely full. The medium and small baskets, on the other hand, are always in the shape of a football. When stuffed full, the two pointed edges at the mouth of each basket keep it in a sharp Diamond shape, or at best, an oval. I should have looked elsewhere because the color is nice but not worth the price!.
