It's a really cute item that I bought for my son's nursery. It arrived flat, so I stuffed a few pillows into both of them for a day and a half, and they were round at first, but lost their shape. They do, however, stand up straight, despite the fact that they aren't round. But it makes no difference to me. They're still cute to me, and they hold just the right amount of laundry for my washer. And then there's the small one, which I use to store wipes and diapers. It's something I'm completely enamored with. It's far more convenient than going to the room to get what I require. It's so convenient for me to just bring the little basket to whatever room I'm relaxing in with the baby. I took photos next to a pampers box to demonstrate the sizing.

(I placed a second order for doggie treats and accessories!) He's a spoiled brat, to be sure. )br>— The large one can fit a small load of laundry but not a large one. br>— I ordered a third set of hats, gloves, and scarves to keep by the front door. br>br>I haven't tried washing them yet, and the one with clean towels or scarves might not need to be washed at all. However, I would exercise caution. Rope rugs have always been difficult for me to wash. Although the rope is sturdy, the stitches that hold it together are frail. When rope goods are wet, they are extremely heavy, and putting them in the dryer can cause them to fall apart. Instead, I recommend taking a more passive approach: Soak for a few hours, then rinse and squeeze gently. Allow them to dry in the sun.

I'm disappointed because this one appears to only have one basket, despite the fact that I clearly purchased the "2pcs" one. I didn't want to return the basket because I liked it, but I was looking forward to the OTHER basket for my shelf. I tried emailing them using the address on the little card that came with the basket, but I keep getting an automated message saying the email address is invalid.

These have proven to be an excellent investment. The small basket is perfect for discreetly collecting main floor (kitchen and powder room) laundry to be taken to the laundry room on another floor, and the large one is perfect for discretely collecting main floor (kitchen and powder room) laundry to be taken to the laundry room on another floor. They're attractive enough to blend in with our decor while remaining unobtrusive, making them ideal for the tasks we've given them. br>br>The only thing that irritates me is that and it's only a minor annoyance- is that the large basket has yet to develop a rounded shape, stubbornly clinging to the flattened shape in which it was shipped.

I haven't quite gotten all of the creases out yet, but I haven't tried hard enough because the toys (when inside) hold it open. The larger one is used for Lego Duplo blocks under a block table, while the smaller one is used as a diaper changing table. The baskets only have a natural fiber scent (they are cotton, after all!). ), so I'm not sure what odor the other reviewers are referring to. Even the plastic bag in which it is packaged has no odor. Overall, these appear to be tough and scratch-resistant, making them ideal for hard wood floors. They don't have a tag that says where they're made, but I'm guessing China. Regrettably, this is unavoidable. I also wish this brand offered multiple sizes in the SAME style/color, because I was looking for a medium and larger size to go with this style rather than something completely different.

I've now purchased my third Little Hippo basket. These are fantastic baskets. They're not only attractive and durable, but each one comes with a complimentary small basket in the same design. I've been so pleased with them that I haven't even considered other brands, so I can't compare them. Mine are used as laundry hampers, but they could also be used for other storage needs. The other two are bigger, but I wish I had gotten all three in this size; nonetheless, I'll use them all. If the need arises, I will not hesitate to purchase additional Little Hippo's.

I have every single one of these baskets and use them in my bathroom on the shelves to store odds and ends, I use them for dog toy baskets, they're great for laundry baskets, and I've got the big navy one full of pillows. I love them because they're soft and squishy and you can put anything in them, including toilet paper in your bathroom.
