The fruit is a big hit with the two-year-old! Her mother claims she alternates between wanting to snuggle it and pretending to eat it. Fruit that isn't made of plastic is a fantastic alternative. (Plus, she'll be safe if she throws some to her 4-month-old sister!).
These are simple to wash (on the delicate cycle) and come out looking brand new. They're far superior to the cheap, plastic food that most play kitchens come with. br>They've had a lot of fun playing with them, and they've sparked an interest in healthy eating in my kids!.
These foods are smaller than I expected, but they add to my son's play food collection nicely. The basket is a bit of a waste of space. Instead of the basket, I'd rather have some extra fruit. Overall, though, it was a fantastic purchase, especially considering the price.
This is an excellent product that far outperforms plastic food. My four-year-old and one-year-old both enjoy playing with it because it is machine washable and dried well. A veggie basket is also available. Nothing is too small, and unlike the plastic food, I am not concerned about my one-year-old playing with it. There are no hotdogs or french fries, for example; instead, there are smart/healthy food options. When children have access to fruits and vegetables to play with, they are more likely to choose those foods when they are out in the world. Love it!.
This is a very attractive fruit basket. I wish a few things were different, such as the velcroed-together apple and orange halves. They also had the option of making the banana's fruit a different color than the peel. This was purchased at the same time as the Duktig 14-piece set. piece Vegetables Set (priced the same as the fruit) My son prefers the Veggies, but I'm glad I have both sets for educational purposes. Both baskets arrived much sooner than the other items I had ordered at the same time.
Good product, but the fruits are TINY. It's a little smaller than I expected, which isn't a bad thing; it's just a little smaller, which makes it easier for little hands to grab and explore.
This was purchased for my 18-month-old son. granddaughter, who is ten years old. She can't eat anything from the fruit basket because it's too big for her. Everything is machine washable, which I appreciate. dry. Unlike some of the other reviews, I believe it is well-made and far superior to odorous, non-functional alternatives. plastic that is unremarkable The fruit is embroidered rather than painted with details. Even though purchasing this Ikea product on Amazon was a few dollars more expensive (it was not available on the Ikea website), it was worth it to me to avoid having to go into the monster-infested store. I'm looking for something in a huge Ikea store and I'm having a hard time finding it!.
The set is a little smaller than I anticipated, but it appears to be well constructed. They're super cute and extremely soft. A toddler will love it.
