This fountain is a favorite haunt of my dog and cat. This causes it to fall off its base, splash a little, and the culprit flees! This has happened at least a dozen times, and the fountain is still in excellent condition. Because of this, I use fake candles, which work fine, and my husband claims that the dog has even drunk from them! This is fine because I don't use any of the water conditioner, and even without the dog's help, this fountain needs to be refilled about twice a week. We had it outside on the deck this summer, and it required daily watering in those conditions.
It's a lovely fountain. The fountain is attached to a plug that plugs into the wall and is small enough to fit on a small table or office.

It's been around five months since I got it. I don't run it all the time; instead, I do it a few times a week. At this point, there hasn't been any calcium buildup or paint peeling.

This adorable fountain is one of my favorites! It was purchased to bring a sense of calm to my outdoor deck retreat. I must say, the negative reviews astound me, and I'm glad I didn't pay attention to them! The first one that comes to mind is when people say, "There isn't enough water sound. " " I have a good understanding of mine. I did add a few more river stones and tweaked the placement a little, but I think the sound is fantastic! Especially since it's only 12 inches tall and costs $30! I won't go on and on about how wonderful it is and how much I adore it; instead, I'll just include a photo and a short video! This is the fountain for you if you're looking for a smaller fountain with a lovely look and sound. If you're looking for a waterfall or a pond with a pump, you've come to the right place. Please keep looking for the fountain!.
This is for our second bedroom, which we purchased. It had been five years. It's always worked for me. It's a semi-automated system that runs in the background. at all times Because the pump is very quiet, you can relax and enjoy the sounds of running water. We use small tea light candles from time to time. Every week, we refill it with distilled water and a few drops of algae-fighting chemicals. We clean it once a year with a mild detergent scrubbing with a toothbrush on the tower parts and pump, and a little bleach and CLR just on the bowl. The pebbles are bleached on their own. We've noticed a lot of paint flaking off. This year, we gave it a little TLC with model airplane paint, and we're hoping for a few more years of service from this fountain.
This fountain has exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it has a fantastic sound. It shouldn't be too loud, but it shouldn't be too quiet either. I didn't want to use candles in the holders, so instead I used quartz crystals. It does not have a switch to turn it off and on, which is my only complaint. But that's just my preference; it didn't come with any rocks, so I had to make my own. This is a fountain that I would recommend. It's very calm and relaxing, and it gives the room a sense of calm.
The maximum amount is ten dollars. Well. Let me start off on a positive note because I'm a nice guy who prefers constructive criticism to outright criticism. So far, the fountain appears to be in good working order. Its quality, on the other hand, is substandard. There isn't a switch to turn it on or off. To turn it off, you must unplug it. Plastic that is inexpensive. This nonsense is way too expensive at $30. In my opinion, it is not worth $10. At another store, I found a better fountain for $20 that had an On/Off switch.
Listen to the sounds of water and relax. I pray the rosary while lighting my candles. It's a soothing experience.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the water sound could have been louder, and there were only a few rocks to accompany it. I needed to go out and purchase more. br>br>However, in general, a lovely fountain!.
HAZARD OF FIRE - USE EXTREME CAUTION when using this device; while the fountain is lovely, it is also dangerous! The flame from the candle was able to ignite the nearby water tower, which then began to flame and smoke. It is not to be left burning unattended, as you can see from the image. I strongly discourage the use of candles in the fountain.
The fountain on the table is ideal. For perfect water flow, we removed the filter from the hose, as suggested by others. Quiet, and I bought LED tea lights to extend the life of my light. I really like how it turned out. This purchase has made me very happy.
