I tried it in the master suite sitting area, which is open to my bedroom, so it was probably more than 20 feet away from the bed instead of 10 feet. That's a significant distance difference; if it were closer, it might be too loud. I thought the sound was great; it wasn't too loud or too quiet for me. The carpet, on the other hand, was a source of concern for me, as there was a chance of a stray spray or drip causing damage over time. As a result, we moved it downstairs to our office, which has a hardwood floor and a washer and dryer. It may appear to be a lot of trouble, but it was well worth the trouble because it is so beautiful to see and hear. We do occasionally see a splash of a few drops that has escaped the controlled area, but it is easily cleaned up and has no chance of soaking into the carpet.

I adore this fountain and felt compelled to leave a review for other Amazon customers who might be considering buying one. It's a lovely and soothing sound. It doesn't leak at all, and I'm quite pleased with it overall. Everything was in order!.
To begin, I'd like to point out that the fountain is very attractive, and I enjoyed the sound of the water flowing. The LED lights are a nice touch as well. The quality of the manufacturing/assembly process, on the other hand, appears to be an issue. I carefully inspected the fountain when it arrived, as several other Amazon reviews had mentioned leaking issues. At first, I thought the fountain was in good working order. As a result, I proceeded to connect the pump and LED lights, as well as fill the fountain with water. I left the pump running for a few hours and saw no leaks - Water splashing has resulted in some wetness on the ground. The next day, however, I noticed a long hairline crack had formed overnight when I returned to the fountain. As you can see from the photos attached, it's quite noticeable. When I looked inside the fountain with a flashlight, it appears that it is made up of two (possibly more) separate pieces that are then bonded together with some type of adhesive, which was insufficient to prevent a hairline crack from forming along the seam in my case. Because the crack is above the waterline, it does not cause water to leak from the fountain; however, I am exchanging it for another of the same type in the hopes that the replacement does not have the same problem. If you plan to buy this fountain, I recommend carefully inspecting it upon unboxing and again after a few uses to see if any cracks have formed.
The installation was simple and straightforward, and the best part is the SOUND, which is just right for our ground-level deck. Many of these water features make noises similar to someone filling a bowl in the bathroom sink. This one sounds exactly like the real deal, very relaxing and peaceful. I had no issues with the splashing mentioned by others. To keep the water crystal clear, use about five drops of algaecide once a week. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, attractive, and sounding water feature that is also easy to install.
I have a small patio, but I placed this there and surrounded it with flowers, and now I have a lovely peaceful place to relax, meditate, and praise God. It appeals to me greatly. There is no need to put anything together. I simply filled it with water and sank it into the water. My patio is encircled by tall bushes, which provides privacy but also makes it appear small. When I was in a small Japanese garden, the guide told me that if you put water, rock, and plants together, you have a representation of the entire world. As a result, my small space has been transformed into a peaceful representation of the entire world thanks to my fountain! My "Secret Garden," as I like to refer to it.
This large fountain was purchased to be used inside. Some reviews claimed it sprayed a small amount of water beyond its boundaries, while others claimed you could control and slow it down, while others were unsure, and the majority recommended using it outside. I almost returned it when I first received it. It was even more beautiful and sturdy than I had anticipated, and I adore the way the water forms sheets as it cascades down the spillways. Yes, there is a way to control the flow of water, but even on the lowest setting, it still sprays a few drops throughout the entire time it is running. The floor would deteriorate over time as a result of this. They were willing to return it, but my family was attached to it like a kitten who showed up at the door, and I begged them to let us keep it. I then remembered another large indoor item that, while it rarely leaks, makes a huge mess when it does: our clothes washing machine. The solution is a basin of the exact right size to catch all of the spray, as well as any potential accidents and leaks, which is also available on Amazon for around $20. It is still performing flawlessly after a month. A few drops splatter, but they dry quickly and do not escape the basin. do not endanger the Astro- We've never had an issue with turf.
We installed this in a three-year-old flower bed to replace a cement pagoda for the summer months (Pacific Northwest), and the water's soothing sound can be heard from 30 feet away. on the deck of our house I tapped into the existing 12 volt lighting in the flower bed so that the LEDs for the three pools (which I may replace with brighter ones later, as they are quite dim) turn on with the flower bed's night lighting. I used a timer on the 110 volt to turn the pump off at night. I'll drain it, wash it with soap and water, and store it in our RV building for the winter at the end of each season. I'll give it a coat of acrylic sealer before putting it out for the next summer (as they recommend to keep the colors bright). Fortunately for me, I can re-use it because I buy it in 5-gallon buckets. I'm going to use a dollar worth of sealer and ten minutes of my time to coat the stamped concrete trim on our driveway; the interesting part will be seeing how long the pump lasts, but they're not expensive to replace. As long as the magnetic drive motor is kept clean (treat water for algae once a week), it should work fine. It doesn't even make a sound when it's running, which is convenient.
We purchased two of them in fact. However, neither of them seems to be able to keep from splashing onto the ground. In addition, shortly after the 30-minute mark, one of the fountains began to leak. We could have requested a warranty repair from the manufacturer, but we would have had to pay the return shipping costs for this 50 object. Fortunately, the leak was fixed with the purchase of a tube of epoxy. .
