No splatter on my carpeted office floor, and I bought one for my mother, who claims that everyone is amazed. The downside is that no matter how much water you put in it, the pump is a little loud, and if you leave it on all the time, you'll need to keep jugs of water on hand because it evaporates, and sometimes you just can't get the water to cover the entire mirrored part, as it does on mine but not on my mother's. I recommend using distilled water to avoid hard water stains and buildup, as well as eliminating the need for the algae treatment. Nonetheless, I adore it. I bought some extra rocks to cover the wires that curve around the rock tray, and it doesn't have an on/off switch, so you'll need a strip thingy with one unless you want to unplug it. It's a little time consuming, but I still enjoy it.

Hello, you can replace the light by removing it and unscrewing the cover. Alpine-RBS1210 is the correct bulb to use.

I replaced the original white light with a set of four multicolored pond lights. I repurposed the original light to supplement my outdoor landscape lighting, and it's still going strong in the rain. br>br>The black aluminum exterior complements the dark bronze door in the foyer's lower light. The back of the mirror is 4 inches from the wall in back, as you can see. A 2 inch gap exists between the wall and the mirror when the fountain base is flush to the wall. Because of the extra 2 inches, I was able to put the electrical outlet behind the base rather than in front of the semi-circular mirror. It's transparent, so it's easier to put together. To illuminate the wall behind the mirror, I placed two of the four pond lights behind it. This bleeds through to the front, illuminating the wall behind it and transforming the gap into a focal point. br>br>After 8 months, the original pump lost pressure and was unable to supply water to the Fountain's top. After receiving one email from me, Alpine customer service promptly sent me a replacement. br>br>This Fountain rivals those found in tens of thousands of dollars restaurants! This fountain takes everyone's breath away when they enter our home. I'm proud of how it complements my entrance and am extremely pleased with its design, function, operation, and ease of upkeep, not to mention Alpine's excellent customer service.
It became necessary for me to return. I couldn't get the water to run evenly down the mirror after I set it up, which was fairly simple. The water would come down a few inches depending on how high I turned it up, then meet in the middle and flow down, leaving the sides dry. I needed assistance to see if the mirror could be coated or cleaned to make it functional again, but no one from the manufacturer responded to my emails. I was disappointed because I liked the fountain, and I was disappointed that no one at Alpine seemed to care about making a customer happy. Requested a refund and was sent back.
The pump must be cleaned on a regular basis - At the very least, once a month.
I purchased two of this item because I adore it. My coworkers are enthralled by the tranquil environment I've created.
However, I can say that it is lovely and everything we could have hoped for (before it becomes operational). br>br>Now all I have to do is tell you about the fantastic customer service I received when my pump broke down. I just finished putting the fountain together (with no issues) and it looks fantastic. But nothing happened when I turned on the pump. After going over the troubleshooting options, I realized the pump was broken-- When connected to confirmed power, there is no noise or vibration. As a result, I contacted customer service and explained the situation. I requested that a replacement pump be sent. br>br>Now for the important part: On a Saturday afternoon, I emailed them that email. I received a response from Jamie Alforque in Customer Service within about 2 hours (late on a Saturday) stating that, of course, a replacement pump would be sent to me. There were no queries. Just the assurance that a replacement would be sent as soon as possible. They did send it via FedEx right away, and I received it shortly after. Although I have not yet installed the pump into the fountain because it was a gift and is located at another house where I have not yet had the opportunity, I did test it by plugging it in under water. It is, without a doubt, successful. br>br>After we get the fountain up and running, I'll update the review of the fountain. What I can say right now is that Alpine's customer service, particularly Jamie Alforque's, is outstanding. Also, the fountain is quite lovely. I would strongly advise you to order one of their fountains, assuming it fits your decor and application, because if there is a problem, they will promptly correct it. They will do so quickly, competently, and courteously, based on my previous experience. This is exactly how I wish all customer service was. br>br>Thank you, Jamie and Alpine, for all of your help!.
There isn't much to Ez assembly. If you want to use the fountain, make sure you have distilled water on hand. I thought the fountain was overpriced for what it is, but it has a nice design and is light and easy to assemble or move if necessary.
I ordered this product three times and only got the base ridiculous each time.
Once you've put it all together, it'll be a stunning piece. The pump is easy to figure out despite the lack of instructions. I wish the instructions included a rough estimate of how much water it holds so you can figure out how many gallons of distilled water to buy. I'm not sure how to keep the streams running separately because they eventually merge into one large stream. In general, I am very pleased!.
