Mildew is not present in any way. I dry them for about 15 minutes on the lowest heat setting (or about 45 minutes if I use the air dry setting) after I take them out of the washer machine. I have a front loader washer, and I will admit that the mat absorbs a lot of water while washing (which may be a good sign as it shows how absorbent it is), so the washing cycle takes a long time to finish because it spins fast. But after that, drying is a breeze, and there is no mildew.
Sadly, no. The "Non-Profit Organization" (NPO) is a group of people who It appears that "slip" technology isn't designed to be used for sliding. It will not move if you stand on it. However, if you walk by it or place one foot on it, it will slide all over the place. br>br>I haven't tried any of the suggestions made by others. (For example, purchasing a separate pad, tape, and so forth.)
One has never gone moldy in my experience.

Today is the first time I've ever seen it. When I stand on it, it feels very comfortable. Even though I washed the carpet in my washing machine's delicate mode, it only lasted one wash. The foam is now on display.
These mats aren't going to last long, as they're made of the cheapest foam known to man. They're fantastic at first. However, they become as strong as a towel after a month. In fact, a towel that has been folded is preferable. br>It's not a good idea to try it.
Do not make a purchase. The drying time is interminable. You have the impression that you are standing in a pool of water. It is prone to slipping and does not adhere to the ground. Several times I was on the verge of slipping. Hazardous! Instead of using this, I'd rather stand on a cold tile floor. The only thing I liked about it was how nice it looked in person, even better than it did in the picture.
I'm extremely disappointed! I started with three gray mats. Each sink has its own, as well as a smaller one for the toilet. They came in three different shades of gray (mats on the left side of the picture), just like the other reviewers. I was looking for a darker gray in the top left corner. br>br>So I assumed it had been mislabeled and that what I wanted was now known as smoke blue. That's not the case (though they did match). (See the right-hand mats in the photo. ) br>br>I tried working with Jason in Genteele customer service, and he promised to send me the darker gray mats for free, but they never arrived after several emails back and forth. What a pain! br>br>All right, let's get started. If you require gray, the best advice I can give is to avoid purchasing this product. Because you don't know what shade will arrive, and customer service has failed you.
I bought this for my new house because it's very comfortable and keeps my feet warm and cozy after stepping out of the hot tub or shower. It absorbs well and has a very elegant appearance. It comes folded in half, so give it a day or two to fade away the crease line.
I purchased this mat after becoming dissatisfied with the previous one, which left small fuzz strewn across the bathroom floor. It's smaller than I expected, but that's because I didn't measure. It's very relaxing, but there's a word of caution. If you don't make sure it's completely dry after washing it, you'll be sliding all over the place. It's also water-repellent and takes a long time to dry. The only other issue is that it moves around quite a bit, even when not wet. Even so, it's an improvement over the previous shedding issues I had.
I recently relocated and required bath mats. When my husband and I get out of the shower, I first order the large one. This is well-made, feels soft, and dries quickly, so we don't slip when we get out of the shower. I liked it so much that I ordered another one for the bathroom's under-sink storage. I like that it's made in the United States, and you won't find this quality for these prices anywhere else. I strongly advise you to do so. Cheryl.
I've been using this for a few weeks and it's everything I wanted it to be: comfortable, absorbent, pretty, and durable. I bought two and am planning on purchasing two more for the guest bathroom. This is something I would recommend.
