The container is different from the object. To keep moisture out, it's just a plastic bag filled with carbon.

Is it possible to put these packets in the sun for a few hours to get them to look new?

My belief is that this is not true. Apparently, they need to be replaced according to directions.

The OXO Greensavers have smaller packages, and it appears that this one is quite densely packed

It's not been more than a month since I first began using them, but About a half hour. Due to their configuration, they are very tightly packed, a much different package from OXO Greensavers, so there isn't much space for you It appears that they are doing a good job, however. The next time I comment will be about 1 1/2 months from now. Because they are made here in the United States, I like them.

Having said that, you can toss them in the dishwasher and they will be fine. Do keep in mind, however, to get replacement packs.

According to the filters, they are the same The filters appear to do the job just fine

As shown in the photo on the far right in the product description, they came in a package like the one on the far left. makes me wonder if someone had a stockpile of these filters and put six of them into a plastic bag with a sticker label and decided to sell them. There are three different pictures of the packaging, which I am not sure why. It is something I did not pay attention to when I purchased it. Although the filters seem to be decent, they are still not perfect.

The first couple of days have been great! I can fit these in my Oxo containers with no problem! They work as well as brand name filters so far

There was an error in the size of the packet that came with Oxo Original Greensaver

The packet was snappier than the original packet sample that came with greensaver, and I did not find my vegetables lasting longer with this greensaver, which runs into a lot of money since you have to use two.

In Japan, we used another model. In the US, Japan's took top honors, but it was not sold in the US Some freshness only lasts a few days, so it wouldn't be any better than leaving them as is in the refrigerator.

Becomes discolored with use

It is ok for its intended use, but I need to determine whether the discoloration affects it in any way. In the flat area it sits in, water has gotten into the flat area and has discolored it- It is not possible to discolor OXO products. I did, however, leave the OXO ones on top of the counter to dry out, and I tossed the impreza ones when they turned.
