What a waste of time and energy. The instructions are absolutely clear and I've been flipping the jar and doing all the other things you want me to. It is now Tuesday, October 27, at 11 am, and they are still SOAKING wet after being added with the scent on 10/14/2020 at 9am. In fact, they won't be able to absorb any oil from the air.
There is a glue smell to these. Describe the period. They still smelled like Elmer's glue no matter how much oil I gave them in the hope they would adsorb the new scent. The subtext is not subtle - There's a strong glue smell in the air! I hate this! Buy this product at your peril.
In terms of the fragrance oil, I followed their directions and did a small batch. It was a great success. At first, the beads smelled like glue, but as expected, they absorbed the fragrance. We spent 3 days on it.
The glue smell will never go away no matter what you do. There is something to be said about getting a great deal for the money. It would be nice to buy it again, but I won't.
Although the aroma scents are added, there is a vinegar smell to the beads. But overall, I believe it gets a good eight out of ten.
Several beads stuck to two of my pans, they are really gummy. Your money is worth more than that! The only rating I could give would be 0 stars.
